Parking is free and available for a maximum of two vehicles; If you have oversized vehicles such as Motorcycles, trailers and RV's or need additional parking options for extra vehicles the Village does have room in our oversized parking areas. Please speak to our reservationist if you need assistance with parking options. 



Don't forget that Ptarmigan Rentals offers many amenities to our guests, access to all of the great village amenities including access to the indoor pool, sauna, hot tub, outdoor pool, tennis courts, Cutthroat trout stocked fishing pond, hiking trails, private beach area on Whitefish Lake and so much more. 



Ptarmigan Village is a spectacular location just two miles below the world-renowned Whitefish Mountain Resort ski area and a short 10-minute drive to downtown Whitefish, Montana.  This unique location features unrivaled access to all of the best that Whitefish has to offer and is less than 45 minutes to Glacier National Park. During the winter months Whitefish features some of the best skiing in North America. This skier’s paradise, which boasts legendary runs like Hell Roaring Basin, Home Again, Tree Trails, and Ptarmigan Bowl which have long been known for steep terrain and abundant snowfall and was once widely considered a playground for only the hardest charging skiers and dedicated adventurers. However, in recent decades it has been transformed. With expanded intermediate and beginner terrain and multiple new lifts, and runs the Whitefish Mountain Resort has evolved to meet the needs of skiers of all abilities with over 98 trails. Pets are not permitted in any of the Ptarmigan Rental properties during short-term rental stays.  Service dogs are permitted with notification and completion of proper paperwork prior to making the reservation. Montana does not recognize Emotional Support Animals as service animals, property owners are not required to accept ESA documentation.  Guests traveling with ESA or Service animals are directed to call the Ptarmigan Rentals office to inquire.



Glacier Park International Airport is only about 20 minutes from Whitefish, Montana so getting here is easy
