Located in North Conway Village, this home has a beautiful spacious loft with queen comfortable memory foam bed, a bunk room with a full bed and twin bunk on top on the main floor.
NOTE! IF YOU HAVE MOBILITY ISSUES THIS MAY NOT BE A GOOD FIT FOR YOU BECAUSE OF THE STAIRS!
The living room and kitchen area are connected to allow for socializing and convenience. the deck has a table and chairs to enjoy the outside.
a grill is available as well.
the decor is a bird theme along with vintage pieces to make it an interesting adventure.
Be aware that there are steep stairs leading to the loft as well as stairs leading to the house as well if you or your pet have mobility issues!

In keeping up with the CDC guidelines we will be sure to clean and disinfect all surfaces as well as provide disinfectant soaps and sprays.
Each bed will have a fresh hypoallergenic mattress pad ( you are responsible for bringing your own sheets blankets and pillows ) i provide towels, we can provide fresh bedding at an additional charge per bed.

Family Stay

A family of three, excluding our very active 2.5-year-old son, spent Columbus Day weekend at this rental and addressed some common concerns mentioned by others. It’s important to start by noting that this is a cozy cabin or cottage in North Conway, not a high-end penthouse in Manhattan, so setting the right expectations is key. Pros: • The communication from the host was excellent and responsive. • The location was perfect—an easy walk to downtown, and the parking was off-road and safe. • While the property is dated, it’s very safe and incredibly quiet, making it a relaxing spot. • Out of over 20 years of renting vacation homes, this is one of the cleanest they’ve ever stayed in, which they really appreciated. Cons: • The sofa in common area is definitely showing its age and needs an upgrade. After a long day of activities and chasing our toddler, it was tough to relax on. • The stairwell, which is clearly mentioned in the listing, is a bit concerning. It’s not the host’s fault, but the steep, somewhat cluttered stairs made us uneasy, especially with our 2.5-year-old. Despite these minor issues, we would stay here again, though maybe in a different unit. We loved our time overall—safe, quiet, clean, and the price was spot-on for the area. The rental was fully equipped with everything they needed, from kitchen utensils to basic supplies. See you next time!

A great location to explore the White Mountains

The cabin is quite rustic but it has good WiFi . Not a good fit for people that find it difficult to manage steep stairs.

Clean, Quiet, and Convenient

The Bird House was perfect for our Family of 5. It was very clean and quaint. Dan was very accommodating and was it was very easy to communicate with him. We were minutes from downtown,Cranmore Mountain Resort, the shopping outlets, and many other places as well. We literally didnt have to travel more than 15 minutes for anything. The next time we are in Conway we hope to be able to return to this property

Girls trip left something to be desired

We arrived at the property and this was the first realization that this is a multi unit type of property and our unit was located on the 2nd floor. The stairs to go up were very precarious, steep and unstable, missing a handrail. If you have any balance or mobility issues, stay away. tThe house was cozy, but was very dated. This specific unit had a bird theme, which I liked, except that everything was coated in dust. The kitchen had the basics, but I wouldn’t touch most of it, it was all stuff that looked like it had been left behind for years. The drawers handles were sticky and the pots and pans looked as if they been well worn. We did no cooking and only brought meals back. I will say the refrigerator was spacious and clean. For beds, the teen girls were happy in their room and had lots of shelf space to spread out. The upstairs bedroom was basic, but the mattress wasn’t comfortable. And again, if you are challenged in any way, getting upstairs was treacherous. The stairs were extremely narrow and steep. On the plus side, there was a/c in the bedrooms and a fan in the living room. There were plenty of towels provided in the bathroom. And, the location was great. I just wish the space were better kept. I won’t be returning, sadly.

Wonderful stay in North Conway

The "bird nest" was the perfect place for our family of 3: well situated, clean, fully equipped kitchen, comfy beds. You just have to bring your own bedding and make sure you do not travel with big suitcases since the stairs are quite steep. The owner is easy to reach and very helpful.

Nicely appointed loft with easy access to White Mountain hiking

A very nice place to stay for a few nights. Comfortable beds and functional kitchen for preparing and having meals. Nice decorations that give the place a rustic cabin feel. Too bad for us that weather was on the bad side for most of our stay- we weren't able to sit out on the deck and enjoy post hike beers! Only complaint was that bathroom exhaust fan was not functioning which led to a steamy room after showering.

Convenient and clean

My husband and I stayed at Birdhouse for 4 nights to do some hiking and visit friends in the area. This little nest was perfect for the two of us. It was clean, quiet, and the kitchen had all the basics we needed. It got chilly at night and the heater was fast - hot another night and the fan was perfect. The stairs are steep, but David warned us, and we were fine with it.
