We're just a short walk to Furneaux Lodge for sunset dinner and drinks but we've also got outdoor cooking facilities onsite if you'd prefer to stay in.
Located under main house but private entrance to studio space - bedroom with kitchenette, ensuite and outdoor cooking facilities.
The space - Private studio space with ensuite bathroom. - Kitchenette with fridge and microwave (note there's no oven or hotplate for indoor cooking). - Grill facilities outside for outdoor dining.
Guest access - While you're here you'll get around by walking. - Own boat - If you're arriving with your own boat, we've got a mooring you can park up on during your stay. - Water taxi - We recommend The Cougar Line which has regular daily sailings out to the inlet from Picton.
Other things to note - Breakfast of muesli, eggs, toast and condiments provided along with milk, tea and coffee. - There are no shops around the area to get supermarket supplies so make sure you bring any food you'd like to cook while you're here. Otherwise Furneaux Lodge has fantastic food.

Just Steps away from the Queen Charlotte Track and 20' from Furneaux Lodge. Ideal for an over night stay if you are walking the track and want an alternative to the lodges. Use the Cougar Line boat and they will drop you off at Fuller's Jetty - from there, it's a 2 minute walk to the unit.
Rex and Raewyn were great hosts. We came in our own boat and used their mooring, which was easy enough to access and kayak to shore. The studio room is modern, clean and comfort. We'll be back for sure!
We loved staying here. Everything was perfect for us. We loved the location so close to the water and went for a swim at the end of the day. The hosts are so lovely and helpful. We are so grateful. Thank you.
Such a lovely and relaxing place to stay. I can’t recommend it enough. Stunning location, really clean and modern. Had an amazing nights sleep and really enjoyed exploring the area. Can’t wait to come back.

About the host
Hosted by Rex & Raewyn Parker
We (Rex & Raewyn) have been visiting the Marlborough Sounds with their family for almost 30 years.
We've both recently retired from teaching and made the Sounds our home. Between us, we've got 3 kids who live in Wellington with their families so we often go up to Wellington visiting.
We love hosting guests at our property and if we can be of any assistance during your stay, please just sing out.
