Summary:
This Leadville Dairy Flat is the perfect space to unwind after spending the day skiing, hiking, biking, and exploring all that the area has to offer! Enjoy the views of 14ers and Turquoise Lake from the living room, master, hot tub, and porches as you relax and plan the next day’s adventures!

Managed by @TraverseHospitality

The Space:
Welcome to our charming rental property! This cozy flat features two bedrooms with comfortable beds (one king, one queen) and cozy blankets. The spacious master bedroom has a dresser, a skylight for stargazing, and a private balcony.

You'll love our well-equipped office, complete with a standing electric desk, monitor, mouse, and keyboard. Stay productive while enjoying the breathtaking views at 10,200 feet! The office also provides a couch and plenty of space for relaxation, yoga, or stretching.

In the living room, unwind and enjoy the fantastic views. We offer an electric fireplace, a coffee bar with various brewing options, a dining table, games, a Sonos speaker for your favorite music, and a Smart TV with streaming services like Netflix, Hulu, Apple TV, and HBO. Open the windows in the summer to let the mountain air in or snuggle up on the comfy couch with blankets and watch a movie in the winter.

But that's not all! Step outside to find a private hot tub, perfect for your mountain retreat. We provide robes and extra towels to enhance your experience. The fenced yard is spacious enough for your furry friends to play, and the porch features an outdoor fireplace and comfortable Adirondack chairs with stunning views of Mt Massive.

If you're bringing your dogs along, we've got you covered! We offer dog beds, bowls, blankets to protect the furniture, and a large crate. Please use the crate if your dog can't be left alone. Two dogs are allowed with an additional fee to accommodate our cleaners' extra time. Don't forget to clean up after your pet, and we provide a shovel to help with that.

We're fortunate to have a long-term tenant living in a separate unit on the first floor of the barn. Please be considerate of their home during quiet hours from 10pm to 7am, as housing is limited in Colorado's High Country.

Welcome to your perfect mountain getaway!

Please Note: We do utilize a weblink outside the platform that directs guests to our guidebook. You will receive an email with this link. This is the ONLY way guests can access check-in information, and facilitates the collection of pet fees and other special requests/upgraded services we offer.

Guest Access:
-This is a two story barn, the first floor has a long term renter, please be mindful of this.
-You will have access to the second floor (there is a staircase at the back of the driveway leading up to the second floor).
-Private fenced backyard (if you bring a pet you are responsible for picking up after your pet).
-The Hot Tub is for our guests only (the long term renter does not have permission to use it).
-The home now has a microwave but it needs to stay on top of the fridge. The counter outlet trips the breaker.
-Parking is in front of the main gate or in driveway, not on the street. No more than 2 cars allowed per booking.

The Neighborhood:
We are a 5-10 minute walk from downtown Leadville with locally-owned shops, restaurants and bars. The Mineral Belt Trail is three blocks away, giving you access to 11+ miles of cross country skiing, biking, and hiking straight from the house. The house is on a quiet neighborhood street.

Leadville is 1.5 hours from Denver, 45 minutes from Vail and Buena Vista, 20 from Copper Mountain. It’s the perfect location for weekend getaways and much more. Note Leadville’s elevation is 10,200 ft; bring sunscreen!

-There is a long term renter on the first floor, please be mindful of this.
-Parking is in front of the main gate or in driveway, not on the street. No more than 2 cars allowed per booking.

Staying in the mountains offers a unique and nature-immersed experience, characterized by a rustic charm. You might occasionally encounter some of the local wildlife, insects, and small critters that are part of the natural surroundings. We recommend keeping doors securely closed whenever possible. Rest assured, we've implemented thorough measures to ensure your stay remains undisturbed by these natural inhabitants.

Vacation in the mountains
The place was perfect. Clean, up to date and provided everything we needed for our stay. Plus, it even included a kennel and dog bed for our dog. We will definitely be back and stay here again.

Wonderful Time in Leadville!
My husband, I and our dog Charlie were fortunate to getaway for the holiday. We loved our time in Leadville and the house was PERFECT! Plenty of space and well furnished. The bed was exceptionally comfortable. The dog had plenty of room to run and play. The options for tv entertainment were plentiful. It was cold when we stayed; however the house was nice and warm. Unfortunately we never used the hot tub because we had so much to do in and around town. The notes/recommendations were very much appreciated. There wasn’t a microwave but that was ok because we did a lot of cooking. Will definitely stay here again.
