Wonderful property, great location

We had a wonderful stay at West Beach Villa 4. It was perfect for my husband and our adult son. We could walk everywhere -- the beach and the area with all sorts of great restaurants. The unit was very clean and well equipped. We felt very much comfortable and at home there. We loved the orange trees in the backyard too! Would stay there again.

Perfect location and wonderful place!

Perfect walkable location to many tasting rooms, restaurants, coffee shops, shopping and more! The property was clean and very comfortable. The property manager was very responsive and helpful. Highly recommend this location for your next stay in beautiful Santa Barbara!

charming art deco duplex

Clean and well kept house with character and charm. House is close to 100 years old so expect what comes with that. That said everything was functional. Back yard can use a clean up and refresher of outdoor seating and outdoor table and cushions. Location is excellent and safe

Meeting up with my sister in Santa Barbara

My architect husband and I loved the art deco style of this spacious, clean condo. Set in a quiet neighborhood with gorgeous old trees, we could walk to the beach, cook together on the old Wedgewood stove, and lounge outside. It was the perfect place to meet up with my sister and enjoy some time together.

Santa Barbara Classic

Fantastic historic era home perfectly kept up, maintained and furnished. Minutes to beach, McConnells Ice Cream and 6-7 minutes to State Street Marina and it’s attractions are also a short walk away Even the instructions for access are personalized. Wi-Fi and cable TV were easy to figure out. Fantastic!

Classic 1937 CA Home

This home and back courtyard made for a really pleasant stay. The gardens, big windows bringing in lots of sunlight, and the private yard with orange and lemon trees to enjoy were a big bonus. A very walkable neighborhood and near both the waterfront and Funk Zone. Dart Coffee and Blue Door Antiques were favorites and very nearby. We could hear the trains as the tracks are just a couple blocks away and the highway noise as well when outside but inside the house was very quiet. House was well stocked and beds were very comfortable.

Nice property and location- upstairs shower and old fashioned gas stove could both use a touch up/inspection. Would also appreciate more clear instructions on where to park (lots of info on where not to park but we weren’t sure where to actually go). Overall nice and would stay again.

Great accommodations and location

The villa was as described. Very attractive inside and out and well appointed. The beds were very comfortable. Nice patio out back looking over the back yard with multiple orange and lemon trees. Great location within easy walking distance to State Street, Funk Zone and beach/Stearns Wharf. Excellent communication by management company. We were very pleased and would book again.

Silver Lining…

We were supposed to meet dear friends in SB for a 4-day reunion; alas, COVID struck and they were unable to join us. So, our LA family packed bags and joined us unexpectedly at the last minute and turned our frowns upside down. This adorable VRBO in SB is the ideal getaway. I could move in tomorrow! Just delightful in every way. I hate to gush as I don’t want the word to get out about this neighborhood gem.

Ok only real complaint is for a 30 day stay the chairs were not comfortable. Short term I do not believe that would be an issue. Beds were very comfortable.

Santa Barbara Paradise

We had a perfect stay in this beautiful property. It's well appointed with luxurious furniture and a very useful kitchen. The cart with beach toys and chairs in the garage was tremendously helpful. Best of all, the location is so conveniently walkable everywhere we wanted to go (e.g. State Street, Funk Zone, beach). Hope to return!

Excellent historic home

Every element of the stay was exceptional. My one small complaint is that the knives/cutlery were not particularly sharp, which made food prep a bit difficult. Otherwise, I'm happy to recommend the place.

Lovely home in West Beach

This is a lovely old home in a great location. It has been well taken care of and included everything we needed. The home was clean, the beds comfortable and the rooms spacious. There are two private outdoor seating areas, and there are citrus and avocado trees along with beautiful flowers and landscaping. However, the home's location may be its best feature. It is easily walkable to the beach and State Street, and there are two small grocery stores just a few blocks away. Overall, we had a great two-week stay in this home and would recommend it highly.

Nice place, but think twice in winter

This is a distinctive vintage house in a quiet neighborhood near the beach--very well equipped. However, when it rained during our stay a very noisy sump pump in the basement keep us up for most of the night. Think BZZZZZZZZZZ-BANG every 1-2 minutes. It woke us in the dead of night though we were staying on the second floor. Guests staying in the first floor bedroom will not be a able to avoid the noise. Disappointinly, the management company did not respond to our calls the next morning with alacrity or empathy. They refused to send anyone to check on the pump, telling us this is just what it is like to stay in an old house in this neighborhood. So if you are looking for a place in the winter months when it is more likely to rain, you should keep this in mind.

Would Rent Again!

A well kept historic property with all the right touches. Our family of 5 was very comfortable and the property had everything we needed including beach chairs, beach toys and a well equipped kitchen. The location was amazing - walk to the beach, restaurants on State Street and the Funk Zone. Highly recommend!
