Nice stay but some improvements needed
Condo was comfy, clean, modern, and pretty quiet and overall enjoyed the property. However, there were a few issues (mostly with bringing our jetski) that keep me from giving this property 5 stars that I believe could be addressed with some better communication.
First is that there wasn't any toilet paper, paper towels, tissues, or dish scrubber. Luckily we had toilet paper and paper towels with us, but it was surprising they weren't provided. There aren't many places in the area to get those (closest was CVS 14 blocks away).
Second, the beds were pretty flimsy. Just a mattress sitting on a folding frame. The one bed kept collapsing on us in the middle of the night with the slightest of movement. Also if you are using the sleeper sofa bed there's no comforter for it.
Third, there is only ONE parking tag provided and not two as stated in the property description.
If you are bringing a boat/jetski, this is where things got complicated. Before booking I messaged the host asking if there would be any issues with parking our boat trailer and truck and was told it should not be a problem. When you arrive there are signs everywhere saying no jetskis, boats, or trailers are allowed to be parked there. Additionally, there is a chain with a lock on the boat ramp and we were not provided a code to unlock it. I called iTrip and they were not aware there was a lock so they tried to call the condo's owner. Meanwhile we happen to talk to another one of the owners who live there and they gave us the name/number for the overall condo management company. After calling them I was told that no you can't have a trailer but she would make an exception for us since were were already there and had been told otherwise. She also supplied us with the boat ramp lock and I then gave that to the iTrip contact since they hadn't heard from the owner. Just be sure to ask about the lock code and the trailer parking before you arrive. Our understanding is neither iTrip nor the actual condo owner is authorized to provide the parking exception and it needs to come from the condo manager.
