Definitely a "Hideaway"

FYI- no motorcycles are allowed on Rumbling Bald Resort. This Condo is in Wyndham but associated with the Resort. We could not use any of the amenities such as the pools, beach, restaurants etc because we were on a motorcycle. We left a day early because this condo is out away from everything and the amenities are a mile down a mountain road (if you have a car). The Condo was very nice, clean, great balcony but there is nothing to do near it. I did mention riding the motorcycle there to the contact and she must have been unaware that they are not allowed at the resort because nothing was mentioned to us about them not being allowed. Staying in Chimney Rock would be my suggestion if you are on a motorcycle.

Nice Getaway !!!

The condo was perfect for a couple. Clean and as pictured. Washer and dryer was a bonus. The resort amenities were awesome. We utilized all that they offered. We enjoyed our hot coco on the private balcony in the mornings and played some games in the evening. Very peaceful. Shawnee was a great host, she gave us all the information needed for our stay. We even got to see a bear on our visit so that was neat. We would definitely stay here again !!!

Cozy condo

This property was perfect for my husband and I on our little getaway. It was clean and had everything we needed to cook a couple of meals. We hit the beach at the Rumbling Bald resort for two days and that was very nice as well. Get your groceries before getting into town as it’s a little drive to get to a store. We would definitely stay again!

woodsy studio

Studio was clean-a bit rustic/contempory/boho decor. Odd bathroom layout-sink was outside of shower/toilet room. Not alot of kitchen counter space. Patio area was awesome!!! Only received one email/text prior to checking in--no follow up during visit. Would have been nice to know what toiletries and kitchen items were included or not included in stay. Nearby market has limited hours - next closest market is 10+ miles away. Cell service is spotty at best.

Check in was frustrating but otherwise decent

The property was very clean, the pictures are an accurate representation. Upon arriving to the property, there were about 60 units to figure out which one we were to go to. We checked in with the person at the gate 3 minutes down the road and he wasn't able to give any information until I searched for a text from the person to give them a name. Luckily they were able to look it up and tell us which unit to go to. I never heard back from the person who texted when I said there was a problem figuring out which unit was ours. There were some very basic items, but a toaster could have helped with our stay, something I consider to be a basic item to expect since we were at a condo and not a hotel. Lastly, someone was smoking outside quite often, and we either had to deal with the smoke smell or be closed up inside with a very hotel-room feel to the air flow. A fan would be a great addition to this place. But in terms of the necessities: cleanliness and safety being highest on the list, this definitely meets expectations.

Great Time @ Lake Lure

Property was just as pictured/described. Appreciate it is pet and smoke free! Communicating with Evolve was not easy. Communicating with Shawnee/owner was a breeze. Unlike Evolve, Shawnee was prompt and attentive to our requests and needs. We were surprised at the lack of curtains, and after getting used to it, wasn't an issue. Table was set for dinner which made using the table a little cumbersome. Overall, enjoyed the property and would definitely stay here again

The condo was incredibly clean and organized. Our host was kind and had excellent communication. She worked hard to make sure we had a seamless stay start to finish.
