About this property

Views on Rocky - Somerset Dam Village

Situated centrally within the gorgeous Somerset Village township, this modern and inviting location is ready to be your home away from home as you relax and unwind.

This 3-bedroom house can readily sleep 10 and features a spacious open plan living/kitchen/dining area that opens onto the large merbau timber deck space, perfect for entertaining the family of an evening, or enjoying the view and a cuppa in the morning.

The main bedroom features a queen bed, ensuite and full-size wardrobe with mirror. The second room features a double bed and small wardrobe. The bunk room features 2 sets of tri bunk beds, bean bags, a Smart TV, Bluray dvd and Nintendo Wii for entertainment. There is also a collection of board games located in the hallway cupboard and a dvd library in the bunk room (kids movies) and lounge room.

All rooms feature a ceiling fan and air-conditioning for your comfort, and the laundry downstairs features a dryer, washing machine, tub sink, clothes airer. An outdoor clothesline is located in the backyard for your convenience. You can play your own music through the stereo via Bluetooth to enjoy inside or outside through the deck ceiling speakers.

There is plenty of off-street parking on the driveway, with undercover parking for 1 vehicle or boat of any size below the deck (please be mindful that, as the deck is constructed of timber, food/drink/other items can fall through the gaps of the timber planks). There is also 2 additional outdoor settings downstairs under the deck for you to enjoy while playing a friendly game of Boche or Finska on the grass.

The Somerset Dam Spit is a short 3-minute drive from the house where you can enjoy plenty of watersport activities - waterskiing, wakeboarding, wakesurfing, tubing, fishing, jetskiing, kayaking, stand up paddleboarding and swimming. And Kilcoy and Esk are both less than a 30-minute drive away. Within the town there is a park, tennis courts, and small café/convenience store (limited opening hours – please check The Dam Shed Facebook page for more info) all within walking distance.

All linen, basic essentials (soap, body wash, shampoo & conditioner) and pantry items supplied.
