Welcome to our charming rental property nestled in the heart of Santa Barbara. This historic gem, built in 1938, holds the distinguished title of being a City of Santa Barbara Historical Structure of Merit. As such, guests should expect the character and quirks that come with an older home, which we believe add to its unique allure. While we've taken great care to maintain the property's authenticity, we want our guests to embrace its heritage and appreciate the timeless elegance it exudes. So, if you're seeking a memorable stay steeped in history and charm, look no further than our beloved abode.

Spanish tiled steps surrounded by lush landscaping lead to the entrance of the luxury two bedroom home, Cali Casa. Upon entering, guests are greeted by a large living room featuring custom cabinetry and a fireplace surrounded by a comfortable seating area that is perfect to gather with friends and family. Two bedrooms, each with their own ensuite bathroom, feature large windows, luxury bedding and in-room televisions. A shared courtyard offers guests an indoor/outdoor living experience with an outdoor dining table, lounge seating, and grill.

Really enjoyed our stay. Quick walk to the beach and the communication was amazing with the rental company. The only downside would be that the two bathrooms need some serious attention for cleanliness and renovation.

Great Location if you like to walk places.

The location is the best part of this house if you enjoy a good walk into town and a shorter walk to the beach. There are lots of great restaurants within walking distance. I gave a low rating due to the high fee involved for cleaning, but yet the place did not look very clean to me. It needs some extra tlc to take care of many cobwebs and spiders around the house. The beds were very comfortable and over all, the rest of the house was clean enough. The kitchen is not really stocked for cooking big meals, but is just fine if you are mostly eating out anyway. There are extra costs involved through vrbo, etc, so really look at those before agreeing to the contract. The garage is for a smaller car, so if your renting a car, go on the smaller side, There is a short driveway as well to park in. Otherwise, street parking was not a problem.

Graduation Get Away

Great property! Perfect location in West Beach! Close to the wharf, State Street, wine tasting and shops. My wife and I brought our oldest son out to celebrate his graduation from college. We all had a great time. Hannah is awesome, friendly and always helpful. We’ll be back!

Wedding weekend

The house was perfect for our family when we were in Santa Barbara for a family wedding. Clean, pleasant and comfortable, there was ample room for everyone to get ready for the various events and relax in our down time. Nice walking neighborhood. Very quiet. Great beds. Kitchen was good, but I’d suggest the glassware and serving vessels/utensils could be supplemented a bit.

Perfect homebase for a Santa Barbara stay!

We stayed at Cali Casa with our daughter and son in law, while attending a wedding. It was a perfect homebase for our stay in Santa Barbara. The location couldn't be beat - a short walk to the beach, the Funk Zone, and State Street. While the house was in close proximity to downtown, the neighborhood is very quiet and residential. Cali Casa is a lovely, spacious Spanish style home which is very well appointed. We had wonderful meals both inside and in the charming courtyard. The two bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms was a great layout for two couples, and the beds were extremely comfortable. The rental included access to a Concierge who was very helpful and responsive to our requests. We'll definitely be back - and wouldn't hesitate to recommend this property to anyone!

Perfect location to walk to Funk zone. The house was ideal for 2 couples. We thoroughly enjoyed it.

Property mgr. was very quick to respond. Great house and perfect location. We used the patio barbecue one night and had a fun time sitting out there drinking our Santa Barbara wine.

Wonderful Santa Barbara home

Quick stay in Santa Barbara after a conference in San Diego. Arrived on Sunday night with my husband, daughter and her boyfriend. House was nicely decorated and comfortable. A great location and easy walk to Funk Zone, State Street, ocean, restaurants and sites. We had a wonderful time and anticipated staying until Wednesday but unfortunately had to leave on Tuesday. Sad to go. Looking forward to staying there again in the near future!

Cali Casa was a lovely getaway

This property was very nice. Location was terrific. 2 blocks from the beach! Close to restaurants and shopping and only a 7 min car ride to the Zoo. And we loved walking along the coastline. The home was very comfortable; especially the beds. Bathrooms could use a little updating and the water pressure was better in one, so we just used that shower. But the home was well appointed and they had everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable.

Cali Casa is a sweet property! It is so comfortable and well-appointed. The kitchen is well-equipped and the driveway space was very convenient. The west beach location was perfect, a short walk to the marina, the wharf, and State Street. We enjoyed our stay and hope to rebook for our next visit!

Great location, great home

Really enjoyed this property. The beds were super comfortable, the location was perfect, the fireplace was awesome. We didn't get to enjoy the outdoor courtyard (shared with other units) due to weather. The kitchen was nice and stocked. Bathrooms were a bit dated but nice (enjoyed the heater fans!). I didn't like the pillows too much, but I am a pillow snob (prefer cushy down). Overall very happy with this stay.

Great location- walk to popular State St hot spots

This is the cutest place! The location is great. You can walk to most popular State St. locations. The only downer of this location is the countertops. They are painted tile. Otherwise it was great. High end furnishings, and just lovely.

Great Location and Beautiful Property

We had a great time and the property is gorgeous. Note there is only one very very tiny garage spot. There was not very much toilet paper so you might want to bring some. But overall a great stay and would stay again, but was very expensive. Wish it was more affordable.
