Come stay at the TxStar Haus, a charming farmhouse in the historic district, just 4 blocks from the center of town and the Marktplatz. The home, built in the 1940s, has been completely remodeled with new furniture, fresh paint, refinished hardwood floors, and an updated bathroom. It has a sizeable, fully stocked kitchen with all new appliances. The home has TVs in the living room and bedrooms. Sleeps 4 people comfortably, but can sleep 6 with a sleeper sofa.

The large backyard deck offers a great place to relax while watching birds and deer in the morning or evening after a day of shopping in town or touring the many wineries and breweries in the area. A new game room out back welcomes you to some foosball or your choice of board games while watching your favorite TV show or movie. There are also outdoor games to enjoy: corn hole, bocce ball, and croquet. Additionally, there are open areas on the property to enjoy picnics in the shade, see the stars at night, or watch the upcoming eclipses. Come stay at this awesome home in the heart of Fredericksburg!

Country peace near Main Street

Wonderful property, decorated for holiday, well equipped kitchen, saw deer every day in lovely field next door, quiet but close to Main Street attractions. Highly recommend for couple or small family!

Quiet and convenient

Nice quaint cottage convenient to downtown attractions. Quiet neighborhood. Nice deck outside. We did have a problem with the heat at night. No matter what we tried we could not get it to work properly. Also, although we don't watch a lot of TV the streaming service did not give us much choice in selection. Check in after 4 p.m. is also a little late, especially in the winter.
