Great Family getaway
Clean and comfortable stay for the whole family. The kids can run around, catch fish, sit around an outdoor and indoor fire, sit on the deck with your morning coffee watching the day go by. In the evening, sit on the deck, play games while having a bbq, drink some local wines from Longhorne Creek all while the kids can enjoy themselves in a safe environment.

Fantastic place for a family stay
This property is good for a large family get together. Need a bit of TLC in certain areas such as replacement of fly screens etc. Nice isolated location. We had a great time. Would recommend to anyone.

A great amount of space to enjoy for a big family group
This was a great spot to accommodate our 4 families. We hardly saw the kids as they enjoyed the outdoors. A big fridge and plenty of cupboard space to accommodate all the food. Only minor suggestions for host which will only make the stay even better. Thank you

Great spot for a family gathering
The Lake House is an excellent spot to get together with friends and family. Plenty of room for everyone, excellent views across to Goose Island. An abundance of mosquitoes kept the deterrents close by, but that is the price you pay for being so close to the lake. The bedrooms could use ceiling fans or something to move the air around on those really hot nights. We struggled a bit for fridge space with a party of 10. If you were there for more than 3 days you might have trouble keeping everything cold. Didn't use the slow combustion heater, but it looked warm. I wish we could have stayed longer.

Perfect place to relax and forget your worries. Plenty of room for all of us. The view is amazing, and the deck gives plenty of options to soak it all in. Do yourself a favour and get on down there - you won't regret it.

Perfect for a long weekend
The property is spacious, with a generous kitchen and incredible outdoor area. We enjoyed doing puzzles on the large dining table, walking around the area, and watching the water birds from the balcony. The view is wonderful! Yvette was an amazing host. The house was clean and she was ready to help us with any small problems that arose. I would highly recommend this place if you're interested in a tranquil lake stay!

Great potential, beautiful location
There are a few creases to iron out with this property, but with a bit of experience and feedback this host will have a gem to offer. Things to improve on: -Make sure there’s a change of gas bottle on site. We ran out midway through cooking on the second night. -bedrooms could do with fans for airflow on the hot nights as they don’t have air conditioning (only in the living area). -allow more toilet paper for 16 booked guests. We ran out 2 days in. There was no linen supplied for our 16th guest and luckily had some in my sisters caravan. -the decking area had a stunning view but the actual deck needed some TLC, so too did the little garden out the back.

Great house, ample room.
We had a lovely stay at the lake house. It was large enough for the family and having 3 bathrooms was ideal. It was easy to find and the location suited us perfectly as we attended a wedding at Langhorn Creek. A few drawbacks; the property was promoted as having great outdoor facilities but the grounds were very unkempt and being summer we could not let the children go off the deck to make use of the play equipment. It would have been better if the immediate area around the house had been mown. The deck area however was spacious so that was the play area. We felt for the amount we paid that the grounds should have been tidier and safer. There was a section of the deck without railing or wires, just rope looped around, meant it was not safe, especially for crawling babies. Oh, and the 2 bins were already full of rubbish when we arrived. I am sure these issues will be addressed before any future bookings. The Clayton Bay area is very pretty and the nearby wine regions are easy to get to.
