Welcome to ‘The Beach House’ Hardwicke Bay. White sands and crystal clear waters at your door-step. Quality stay with clever floor plan, chefs kitchen and comfort in mind for complete relaxation. Family friendly beach in hidden gem of Hardwicke Bay.

Laundry with washing machine, dryer, iron and clothes rack accessed from outside.
Porta cot and child safe gates available on request.

Luxurious Master suite with King Bed and ensuite with toilet and double headed shower. Basic soaps and hairdryer supplied.
Open plan living with TV, dining table and extra seating at breakfast bar.
Quality kitchen with Smeg 900mm gas stove and electric oven, dishwasher plus separate butlers kitchen with large fridge, second gas cooktop, coffee machine (Takes Nespresso Pods) and sink.
Quality cookware.

Reverse cycle air conditioning supplies all rooms for all year round comfort.

Please note there is no linen service in the Yorke Peninsula so you will need to bring your own sheets, bath and beach towels. Pillows and quilts are provided. Linen can be negotiated at an extra cost for interstate guests unable to bring their own.

Roller shutters along the front of the property upstairs and downstairs keep out the weather on the extreme days and ensure an uninterrupted sleep for guests.

Large balcony with outdoor table, lounge and protection from the wind. Watch the kids on the beach below while you take in the breathtaking views.

Direct beach access with path to pull your Kayak, fishing gear or beach trolley. Council shelter for those who prefer to spend the day relaxing on the sand with public toilets at hand.
Watch the tides come and go and explore rock pools filled with unique fauna and flora. Drop a line, walk the sands to nearby Flaherty's beach or visit the nearby tourist attractions.

Perfect getaway location

What a wonderful house and location. Everything we could have asked for was there. A couple of our kids got to experience kayaking for the first time because they were available at the house to use. The kids put it as a highlight of their trip. The house was spotless, the beds were comfy & super warm. Having the beach a few steps away was awesome, we loved rock pooling and watching the waves roll in. A great spot to check out the rest of the Yorke Peninsula. We had a perfect little getaway.

Stunning home!

This home is absolutely gorgeous! Beautifully designed and decorated. Amazing views of the bay from the balcony. Equiped with everything you needed and/or forgot to pack :) communication was excellent. Can not wait to visit this lovely place again! 100% recommend.

Family wedding

We booked this property as our daughter was having an intimate wedding nearby on Flaherty’s Beach. We contacted Anne who gave us permission to hold the small reception on the property. We could not have asked for a better location. The house is absolutely beautiful. After the beach ceremony we had nibbles and drinks on the balcony overlooking the beach at sunset, followed by a bbq dinner in the back yard. This property is very well appointed, clean and in an amazing location. Could not fault it and had a perfect weekend and perfect wedding. Thank you Anne, for allowing us to use your beautiful home for our daughter’s special occasion. Highly recommend.

We had four wonderful days staying at this gorgeous property over Christmas. The home is presented beautifully, the decor and finishing touches makes it very homely. Anne’s communication skills were outstanding, from check in to check out. Thank you for letting us stay, we’d love to return one day.

Beautiful home on the beach

Beautiful present large family home right on the beach. Well equiped with everything you could possibly need for your home away from home. Plenty of games for the kids on those cold wet days. Butlers pantry upstairs in the main area and a kitchenette down stairs. Owners were lovely to deal with and even organised a late check out for us. Highly recommend. We loved our long weekend.

Beautiful views over the bay

Thank you Anne for an amazing experience at Hardwicke bay, the house is set at the perfect idyllic location in front of the bay with uninterrupted views of the water. The house is beautifully finished and fully equipped which is a real rarity with rentals and perfect for those who enjoy cooking and entertaining with friends. Anne, we appreciated everything you did going above and beyond including the bubbles. Both adults and kids had a wonderful weekend and coupled with you being an exceptional host - we cant wait to return again.

Our Ideal Getaway

This place was a dream. I booked this place as a birthday gift for my husband and it exceeded our expectations. You could tell that the host was thoughtful of her guests by looking at the place. Everything we needed was there. My husband enjoyed cooking our meals at the main kitchen upstairs with the amazing view of the sea. The mornings were spent with my 3-year-old playing in the shallow waters, exploring the mini rock pools & chasing after the Pelicans. Oh, & we had fun with the kayak too! We will definitely be back. The Beach House Hardwicke Bay

Another wonderful summer week at the stunning Beach House in Hardwicke Bay. If you are looking for a holiday house getaway with friends or family on one of our best coastlines, this is the place to stay. There is a living area downstairs where father in law has the space to himself and watches summer sport to his hearts content in peace with all the facilities he needs around him, kitchen, bathroom etc. Upstairs is where the rest of us gather in the stunning space with uninterrupted views of gorgeous Hardwicke Bay. A beautifully appointed house, extremely comfortable with everything you need, highly recommended.

Amazing place and town

Loved this place. Panoramic views and the double open doors were amazing! Soo good for little kids, baby gates etc and quite safe in all areas. Clean and tidy and kept well. Loved it!!

Christmas at Hardwicke

Absolutely amazing stay, the holiday house is perfect for large families. In prime position with great views and great sunsets Anne was great to deal with and went to the extra effort of putting up a Christmas tree for our family for Christmas day. We will be back for sure 😁😁 Matt

Luxury property with spectacular ocean views.

We enjoyed a wonderful stay at Anne’s place. The house is modern, spacious and a perfect home away from home. We travelled as a group of 4 adult friends and found there was plenty of room to read and unwind - we especially loved sitting around the outside fire pit at night. The views from the deck are also spectacular. Hardwicke Bay is a great base for touring the Yorke Peninsula. We stayed for three nights and were able to get most of the way around. Anne was great to deal with and very responsive in the lead up to our stay. We will definitely be back.

I fell in love with Hardwicke Bay in 2019 when I stayed there during a work visit to the Yorke Peninsula. I was captivated by the white sands and crystal clear water. I have stayed in Hardwicke Bay every month since and am now fortunate enough the call The Beach House my home away from home. Every month there is another wonder that continues to surprise me and keep me coming back. Whether it be the dolphins, pelicans, seals, sunsents, birdlife, ever changing beach or just watching the local tractors launching their boats from the beach, I am sure you'll fall in love with the bay also.
