Family easter holiday

used it as a launch pad for the local area, it had everything we need to function for a week as a holiday home. Great shower and heat pump

Idyllic lake house

Beautiful property and so clean and the view of the lake stunning.The only downside was the access code for lock box was wrong. Neighbors across the road very helpful and Penny the owner so helpful.Highly recommend this property.

Peaceful getaway

We booked this stay only due to the fact that we had left a Taupo booking too late (we were attending a festival and Taupo accomodation was booked up). We knew nothing about Mangakino, and none of us had ever been there. We loved it. So peaceful with it's lake view, and a short walk to the lake for a swim after a very hot festival day. The accomodation was lovely, and we wished we could have stayed another night to really enjoy the area more.

Awesome location, clean house, fully equipped!

Only thing that was missing was some citronella candles…..there were quite a few mozzies and sand flies at nighttime! Candles Might have helped getting rid of them!!

Calm and relaxing

Great house, we were two families (4 adults with 4 kids) and the house was perfect. The house was perfectly kitted for 8 people, and we had a wonderful stay. The house is so close to the lake and the Waikato River Trails, so happy we took bikes.

Warm in the winter!

We really enjoyed our stay. The house was easy to keep warm during the winter. The beds were all comfortable. The shower was excellent!! And, they have a Nespresso machine! (Venturo). The layout is modern and would be easy to keep clean if staying for awhile. I would suggest maybe a bathrobe hook in the bathroom.
