Dine on the back deck, steps from the lake, in this nature lover's paradise.

Details:

2 floor, modern and fully renovated cottage with 3 bedrooms, open concept living area and kitchen. Main floor has an open concept sitting area with 2 sofas. Well appointed with new and antique furniture. The brand new kitchen is fully equipped and opens to the sitting area, making it ideal for spending time as a family. There's ample room for enjoying meals together: Gather around the big island with seating for 4, or eat together at a dining table that seats up to 8. Step out to the back deck for more dining options, a brand new BBQ and lounge chairs. The main floor has one bedroom with single bunkbeds which sleeps 2, and there's a Smart TV setup, great as a kid media space. Upstairs find a large, airy master bedroom with a Queen bed, en-suite bathroom and French doors which overlook the lake. Down the hall upstairs is a third, spacious and sunny bedroom with a double and single bed which sleeps 3. The cottage is surrounded by trees at the end of a quiet country road and the neighbours are barely visible. This is a quiet, secluded spot on a tranquil bay of a large and rugged lake that is truly the epitome of rugged Ontario wilderness.

And what’s wilderness without wifi?🤣 We have Starlink satellite, which means you can cast Netflix to our 2
Smart TVs, or use the cottage as a remote work destination. (Just don’t forget to enjoy the great outdoors:)

House is fully renovated and insulated with a new radiant heating system, and automatic backup generator. We also have a new well which provides potable water.

This beautiful ‘A’ frame style cottage is perfect for a relaxing family vacation on the lake!
Newly renovated with lots of space! Pictures don’t do it justice. All three bedrooms are very spacious. Open concept main floor which includes a beautiful kitchen, living room/dining room. All appliances were brand new and top of the line (including laundry). Sliding doors lead out to a large deck that looks onto lakefront. Nice sitting area on the deck and natural gas (Weber) BBQ. The upstairs features a very spacious master bedroom with sliding doors to a balcony overlooking the waterfront. You couldn’t expect more from a cottage on the lake. A home away from home with lots of space to spread out. The property is located on a cul-de-sac. We trailered our 17 foot boat and there was more than sufficient space to maneuver it and back it into the driveway. The property is dotted with mature trees and rock. The cottage is approximately 50+ feet from the waterfront. You can easily watch kids play near the water from the deck or the balcony. The floating dock and sanded area with gradual entry into the lake is great for kids to play/swim. Canoes/kayaks provided! Complete privacy from neighbours. Water is 5+ feet at the end of the dock (deep enough for swimming/boat). Cottage is located 20-25 minutes off Highway 11/South River, nestled in a largely wooded area. There isn’t a near-by corner store; be prepared for an hour trip if you need to run into town. Bray Lake is large enough (50+ ft deep at parts) and the fishing is great. Boat launch is located on Bray Lake Road (other side – 15 min). Perch, Sunfish, SM Bass can be caught with ease off the dock with worms/hook. In my first few casts off the dock, I caught a 5lb Pike. It’s easy to catch your limit of Bass; I went out for 2 hours and caught 5 (each approx. 4 lbs). Great lake for tubing/waterskiing. The lake is very clean. There are many loons and even saw a few bald eagles on our evening boat ride. Bring peanuts for the chipmunks. Everything you need to cook/BBQ is available and more! It was nice that towels/linens were provided. Owners provided dish soap/shampoo/conditioner/body wash/detergent. Owners also provided large jugs of potable water with a pump for drinking/cooking. We went for a hike at the provincial park (pass provided by owners) and it was beautiful. No internet yet but I understand it is coming; cell reception can be hit/miss. The owners were responsive and helpful! Overall, a wonderful experience/location and I would highly recommend! Thank you Iris and Eli for hosting us.
