Nice unit, but could use improvement
This building complex is built from old shipping containers, which is cool.
Convenient location to downtown amenities.
LOUD neighboring bars/nightclubs. They run until the wee hours of the morning on weeknights, but generally turn the music off around midnight during the week. Noise machine was well-used.
Clean unit, with nice amenities, including spacious washer/dryer.
*Super firm* foam mattress, which we slept great on, but will be too firm for some.
When we checked in, there weren't enough towels for our party. The Sonder app is great for reaching a concierge, but it took 3 tries and almost 24 hours to get towels delivered, so we had to share.
Bathroom needs serious work. Looks nice, the only towel racks are the handicap grab bars by the toilet and 2 small hooks by the shower. Nothing near the sink and no vanity top or shelf for toiletries. Shower curtain is too short so water floods the bathroom after each shower. Had to dry the bath mat in the dryer between showers.
If you plan to use both sleeping areas (living room + main BR), be aware that there's no doors between them - just the kitchen. A barn door in the main bedroom would help.
Be aware that you'll be visible to people on the street and neighboring units during the day and a veritable "fishbowl" at night. Only the main BR has blackout shades - others are semi-transparent.
We'd consider staying here again for the unit's location and because it's a well-stocked, comfortable property. But we hope they make some improvements to the bathroom, especially.
