We had a great relaxing 10 night stay at Kawakawa. The property is exactly as described and photographed in the listing. It has a lovely rural outlook, good access and parking and the cottage is well set out with plenty of space. Great value and friendly owner.

Lovely country hospitality!
Family group of parents & 5 adults kids & partners enjoyed this stay. Hosts were very welcoming & helpful. Beds were comfortable & linen clean & fresh. For extra person cost, Lorraine provided a comfy extra bed for our 7th person. Bedrooms have lots of space for suit cases. Basic kitchen for light meals...we really only did breakfast there. Plenty of glasses, bowls & plates. A nice cottage farm feel with lovely garden. We even got a bag of freshly picked plums before we left! Thanks so much!

Very homely - Perfect for our needs
We felt at home, beds were very comfortable and it had a lovely outlook with a few sheep in the paddock. Very clean, the basic kitchen facilities suited our needs. Easy to get into Feilding and Palmerston North. Great hosts. We will stay here again.

Feilding Fair
We had travelled to Feilding to attend the Craft Fair and couldn’t believe how close the accommodation was. A lovely tidy bungalow that was clean and cosy and had everything we needed. It was a pleasure to sit outside in the sun and take in the rural environment. So relaxing!

Kawakawa Cottage proved a very good base for our recent tramping trip to the Manawatu. It was nice and clean and convenient to town. The shower was very good, given that six of us were requiring showers after a day's walking. The beds weren't great. We had to fix the springs on one of the chairs, but then it was fine. Lorraine was good to liaise with.

The BEST place to stay!
Great location - loved the view of the sheep, it had a lovely country feel. The cottage was cosy and the bed was more comfortable than my own! Lorraine was fabulous, super fast at any inquiries and just lovely to communicate with. My only regret was that we didn’t stay long enough to enjoy it to the max! Highly recommend and would definitely stay here again if we pass by.

Family getaway
Very spic and span home, beauitful and peaceful. I would reccommend highly people try this home. Everything we needed was there, easy access for my elder mum. It was just perfect. We will decinetly be back. 10/10 for us. Thank you for allowing us to stay.
