This rustic yet unique cottage Tsuki (moon) is one of 4 cottages on our private village “Jizobaru” located in middle of tourist’s Onsen hot spring towns Hosenji (15 min), Kurokawa, Oguni and Yufuin.
Other cottages are also available for additional guests.
Nestled between woods and a stream in private village, you'll enjoy feel complete mountain serenity. Sounds of nature surrounded by woods inside & out and water on an amazingly unique property full of wonders.
Away from crowds, take a journey to Mt. Waita trek through the woods.
At back of our village there’s a trail it leads you to a water source of Chikugo River - the largest river in Kyushu, Japan.
Look up the sky and enjoy stars at night with no disturbance of city lights, our village located at border of Aso National Park.
For every step you take and listen and feel the nature.
1 twin bed (bedroom 1), 2 twin beds and 1 futon space (bedroom 2) and a large tatami main room can accommodate up to 8 futons.
1 half bathroom (heated washlet, vanity) in this house .
**12 minute drive to "Ukeno Kuchi Onsen" which open for 24 hours, we provide free pass for our guests.
**For bath - explore near by Onsen (hot spring) there are about 13 Onsen towns and facilities located within 20 minute drive.
**Full bathroom at Cottage Warbler-Uguisu (the unit next to) is available for you if there are no guest staying.
**BONUS! Follow the trail to the creek to have a taste of fresh drinking water straight from the mountains.
