Basketball, Eclipse & Food Junket
Background: Two older couples that made their reservation almost a year in advance of our arrival since we were attending the NCAA Women's Final Four on the weekend and were also seeking to view the eclipse that Monday afternoon.
Initial impression: Found the place extremely clean and very SPACIOUS. Three floors with the larger bedroom on the second floor and the other bedroom and bath on the third. First floor also had a small bathroom off the kitchen/dining area and the large living/family area. Nice small work area for laptop and such on second floor just outside the closet which houses the washer/dryer. Third floor also had a small kitchen/fridge/bar area that led onto the outside deck/veranda (this deck provided us with magnificent viewing of the eclipse).
Neighborhood: Very quiet with several excellent eating establishments within a 10-20 minute walk.
Note: We did have an issue with the shower on the second floor. When we contacted property management the issue was resolved by the following day. I only mention this incident to illustrate the solid communications I had with management; she would text consistently to coordinate the arrival of the plumber, etc. and our schedule for being on site. We felt she handled the situation as quickly as possible with minimal inconvenience to us.
Bottomline: Spacious, clean residence in a great location for us. WE WILL DEFINITELY SEEK THIS ACCOMMODATION WHEN WE COME BACK TO CLEVELAND!!
