Great getaway!

The home was everything we needed for a long weekend away from it all! Everything was as described, the location and the back porch were perfect for quiet time, the game room was a great bonus and we enjoyed walking around the area. Would be a nice getaway no matter the season. Pools, golf and even a spa are part of the community.

Very Nice Property But Listing Inaccurate

This was a very nice property with lots of amenities. I would give it 5 stars except for a major disappointment. One of the major reason I leased this property was the listing's description of the king bed in the master bedroom. The listing picture shows a nice mattress on top of the boxspring. However, the bed only had one spring mattress that was so uncomfortable that we couldn't use it. Also, it was so low to the floor that as seniors, we could not get in and out of it. I complained to the property contact and he was aware of this before we leased the property. He only said that we could move to the queen bed. Very problematic for us. The listing picture description of the bed should have been accurate.

Great Getaway

We had a great time spending time at this home. We had to pay additional for pool/gym passes which was already noted during our reservation process. The game room was a hit with our kids. The space was great for our family.

Nice home

It was a very lovely home and very cozy however we did run into some issues while we were there. The master bath shower door doesn’t close all the way, the dishwasher didn’t work and there weren’t any extra trash bags or paper towels so we had to purchase some. Other than that, the home is beautiful and I would recommend staying here

Holiday Trip to WV

The property was very nice, it was open, in a nice area, the mountains all around were beautiful. The hiking was perfect. Neighborhood was safe and clean. The porch in back opened up to nice area for a yard. The house very open and easy to cook. Nice little garage/game room for a variety in things to do, it proved perfect for the family christmas event/trip. There were a few items broken, that the owner should know about we left the a note with information.

Great Weekend Getaway

This was the perfect cabin a for a quick family getaway. There were four people and two dogs in our party and the house provided a perfect place to rest and relax. Would definitely recommend staying here for anyone looking for a great relaxing getaway

Beautiful place to relax or play!

We were looking for a place to stay with friends for the weekend for the Bonanza in Hagerstown, MD but found this beautiful place and decided it was worth taking a chance on the drive. It was definitely worth the driving distance especially since it rained on Saturday and we had a beautiful dry place to spend the day. There’s enough at the house to keep you occupied. The owners are very quick to answer any questions and were very welcoming! Would definitely stay here again and recommend it or any place they own!

The perfect escape

We had the perfect long weekend escape from reality. This home is immaculate, well equipped and extremely comfortable. It’s close enough to fun spots in Berkeley Springs, but gorgeous views from the firepit I. The backyard. (Don’t miss sunrise…it’s worth getting up early) Marcello is a fantastic and gracious host. We can’t wait to use their home again, still so much to see and do!

Dads weekend

5 of us Dads got together to celebrate my birthday with a little weekend getaway and it we had a great time. Holiday Visit to Hedgesville, WVA

We have family in Hedgesville and were looking for a place to stay for a early X'mas holiday week as an alternative to any nearby hotel. This more than exceeded our expectations. The property is located in The Woods, a large, expansive residential development with amenities, to include golf, just ten miles west of where our family members live. The house was exceptionally clean with enough personal touches to make us feel right at home. We are new to VRBO so we did not quite know what to expect in terms of furnishings and household supplies. We never ran out of anything. The owner seemed to have thought of most everything including the added bonus of a converted garage now used as a game room for young and old alike. We invited our family over for several dinners to spread out in a bigger house and the kids really enjoyed the novelty of the game room. I understand that this is a relatively new VRBO offering. If the owners maintain the high quality accommodation standards we benefited from in our short stay, they will have a winner here! And yes, we would come back again. Mark L.

Great house in quiet neighborhood

We had a great time at Peace Pipe Lane. The facility was very clean, spacious and bright, and had anything you could need. We especially enjoyed the game room with the ping-pong table and foosball. Check-in was easy. We'd definitely recommend this property to anyone visiting West Virginia.

A Must Stay

This home away from home is all you need. We booked this home to get away for the weekend to celebrate my husband's birthday. We just needed a quiet place to relax with family and this home didn't disappoint us. Fully equipped with everything one needs in a home. The homeowners have given much thought to details, so all the guests can have a comfortable stay. Gameroom was such a delight, my kids ages 11, 8 and 3 loved spending their time in it. Highly recommended for your next stay.

Relaxing Getaway

This property is comfortable for two adult couples with children and is very well maintained. We loved the game room, fire pit and the screened porch. The purpose of our visit was to spend time with family and we all enjoyed ourselves.

Fun! Fun! Fun!

The house was easy to find (which was good because the cell signal was poor in the area right before we arrived!) The house is charming and pleasant. We sat out on the back porch during our first morning and enjoyed a leisurely breakfast. We would have enjoyed the grill, golf course and other amenities if we hadn't been in the area to attend my grandfather's 100th birthday celebration. The BIG hit was the garage game room!!! Our kids were thrilled to play games (especially the arcade Pac-Man) Our kids also enjoyed the trundle bed in the big bedroom. The owners were great communicators. We couldn't have asked for a more pleasant visit.
