Week on the Sunshine Coast

A great location and a great property; we were able to explore up and down the coast easily from this spot. The house itself was clean and comfortable for our family. Our kids appreciated the little toys and books available. We would stay again.

Halfmoon Bay House

Modern 3 bed 1 bath house located in Halfmoon Bay. Quick drive to all local shop's and recreation. The Hosts were excellent and close by if anything came up. Would recommend as a place to stay if exploring the Sunshine Coast.

Amazing Street

Weekend Stay for my Family

I booked the place for my Mom and brothers to stay for an extended weekend. The place was very clean and comfortable. The kitchen was spacious and well stocked with plenty to cook with. There was a nice sundeck and place to relax out. The Amenities were fantastic. My Mom says its the best place she ever stayed at.

Family Stay

A very nice and tidy house equipped with everything a young family needs. There were even some lovely toys for our girls to enjoy. The local convenience store is just around the corner and had all the essentials we required.

Clean top level of house in a nice location. Easy to park and has an external plug for our EV. Beds were all queens in each room and the kitchen had everything we needed Definitely be back

This is an amazing rental. Location is amazing. The little store around the corner is super helpful. The host were top notch. I really have no complaints except for the beds. I would recommend mattress toppers. Everything else 110%

Weekend on the coast

Very nice property if you are looking for a quiet time and prefer to cook your own meals. The host left a lovely natural flower arrangement. So many great hiking options nearby.

Piece of Paradise

This property was so comfortable and peaceful!! The home is laid out so that everyone can have their own space and the kitchen was great to come and enjoy wonderful meals together!! The furniture and bedding was super comfy and it had everything you needed. Sharon and Arthur were quick to respond and made us feel very welcome! The sleeping deer in the backyard was awesome. Enjoyable

Wonderful stay and description was accurate. Quiet and clean. Parking was very close to front door so easy to load and unload. Only negative was one of the two beds was not as comfortable.

Clean, comfortable and quiet

The house was clean and well stocked with all the amenities needed. There were nice touches like specialized soaps in the bathroom. The owners were easy to communicate with and very responsive. The neighbourhood was quiet and a short drive to Sechelt, hiking and beaches. Overall, a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

Nice place near Half Moon Bay

Comfortable, uncluttered place. The TV interface would not accept our low level (with commercials) netflix account and did not see a way to stream our other subscriptions. Super clean.

Perfectly Peaceful

My sister and I had a fabulous stay. The property is so CLEAN and peaceful. Loads of space for the two of us. Although we only made coffee and tea, the kitchen is wonderful and is fully stocked with all the dishes, cookware and utensils you could possibly need. The property is just a short 10 minute drive to Sechelt which made it a perfect location for us to attend the Sunshine Coast Festival of the Written Arts. Did I mention how CLEAN this property is? I'm very fussy and it was so nice not to have to worry about this.

Spacious and Comfortable

A bright and spacious home with tasteful furnishings, comfortable beds and a stylish and functional kitchen. Plenty of seating inside and out. Looks newly renovated with modern fixtures. Hi, we are Sharon and Arthur and have lived in the Halfmoon Bay area since 2000. We have been running our BnB since 2018 with well over 200 stays on our resume.
Sharon is a dedicated tax professional and has volunteered to raise donations for several causes such as the Great Cycle Challenge Canada to help fight kids' cancer.
Arthur is a retired carpenter and is a volunteer firefighter in the Halfmoon Bay Volunteer Fire Department and has accreditation as an Emergency Medical Responder.

Why they chose this property

This property is close enough to Sechelt (12 minute drive) and shops, yet far enough out to allow for quiet star filled nights.
From here you can drive to Langdale ferry terminal or Earls Cove ferry terminal in 40 minutes.
We are in very close proximity to several beaches, such as Sargeant Bay Provincial park, and free boat launch at Coopers Green Regional park.
Numerous hiking trails are also close by such as Smugglers Cove provincial park.
And many more hiking and biking trails in the immediate neighbourhood.
Also close by is Buccaneer marina with boat launch, gas bar, bait, snacks and boat rentals.
