About the home

"Views on Snapper" is a delightful 6 bedroom, 3 bathroom home, with great water views, three living areas and a double garage. Some of the many features of this lovely home are detailed below:

Indoor Areas

The entry level of the home (ground level) has the main bedroom with a smart Tv, two Walk in robes and an ensuite (with shower & toilet), bedroom 2 plus bedrooms 3 (with Built in robes) & bedroom 4, a main bathroom (with bath & shower), a separate toilet and internal access into the large double garage. Also on this level is the large open plan kitchen / dining / family room with a smart Tv and great views out over the water and access to the large covered ground floor deck with more stunning views. A coonara wood heater (no wood provided) is also located at the entry level living area.

There is also a second level in the house (downstairs) with an additional living room and a table tennis table and smart Tv. This level also has bedrooms 5 and 6 (each with built in robe), a second main bathroom (with shower), a separate toilet and a large fully covered deck area with more amazing views to the water.

Outdoor Areas

The large double garage (with laundry and internal access into the home) plus driveway provides space for parking up to 4 vehicles / boats. The ground floor fully covered deck provides seating for 8 people overlooking the rear yard and upstairs the fully covered deck provides seating for 6 people. Both afford delightful water views and space to relax and soak it all in.

Kitchens

The fully appointed upstairs kitchen is equipped with standard cooking utensils, crockery, cutlery, microwave, Nespresso coffee machine, toaster, kettle, etc. plus a double sink, huge walk in pantry, large fridge, dishwasher, 900mm electric oven and induction cook top.

Heating/Cooling Systems

The first floor has ducted central heating and refrigerated cooling and downstairs there is a wall mounted reverse cycle air-conditioner in the second living room. A coonara wood heater (no wood provided) is located at the entry level living area. There are also ceiling fans in bedrooms 2 and 3, as well as the upstairs covered deck.

Linen

It is common in the region for some linen to be provided for bookings, and some linen to be available as an optional extra. By default, a booking at this home does not include optional linen (top & bottom sheets, bath towels and pillowcases). What is included are doonas (quilts) with covers, pillows without covers, tea towels, hand towels and bathmats. If you would like the optional linen included in your booking, please let us know, including which beds you would like it provided for. The additional cost would be a one-off charge of $30 per bed (some sites add a service fee to these costs) - and we prefer 7 days' notice prior to your arrival to get that arranged.

Peak Periods

Please note that during the peak summer period and other peak times, check in times are set as 3pm (unless by prior arrangement). Please also note that if you avail of the optional linen hire over these times, it may involve linen being left out but beds not being made up.

Functions, Celebrations and Schoolies

Please note that the home is not suitable for celebrations, parties or large events. The home also does not take bookings over Schoolies.

Great house
Great house, great location, comfy beds. The linen we booked wasn’t there, but this was remedied quickly and pleasantly. The one problem we had was the kitchen was not well equipped to deal with eight adults. Exactly 8 plates and bowls (no bread and butter plates), so if you used them you had to wait for the dishwasher to finish. There weren’t enough large pots and pans, one chopping board and very blunt knives. Also two dish tabs for the weekend and no dishwashing liquid (or we couldn’t find it). Overall we had a great weekend but would have been perfect apart from the kitchen niggles.

This is the second time we have stayed at this property and it has been perfect both times. Everything that we need is available, great living are for our whole group and great location.

Great place but...
We had a really wonderful weekend at this beautiful property. We do however have a couple of constructive comments to make. In addition to making the toilet and bathroom doors on the top floor lockable, It would have been nice if the following was provided: - 5-10 clothes hangers in each wardrobe; - 2 hand towels per room in the bathrooms; - Body wash & shampoo in each bathroom; - Full toilet paper containers; - A full tea box;

Suited us well
A very nice house, comfortable beds and couches. Kitchen items mostly what we needed. Nice views and walking distance to two cafes. Some areas needed better cleaning but mostly fine.
