Mountian Vacation
Exactly what my wife and I were expecting of this property. We didn’t give it a 5 Star rating only because we planned several daily events around the the saloon/Game Room facility with our Family and didn’t get a chance to enjoy due to Roof damage at the bar area…. It was the main reason for choosing this property for our vacation. We were told of the damage the day of arrival. The Home is beautiful, location is secluded, and the scenery is amazing. Wish the roof wasn’t damaged to bar/saloon area and the beds were more comfortable! Then it would have been Perfect!

Beautiful place and surroundings but Kitchen needs urgent help!
Good locale; could not ask for better scenery with great activities nearby. Property was fun and very well kept except for kitchen and outdoor grills. Pots & pans still had cooked-on food in them, spatulas & cooking utensils still dirty, handle on main skillet was off and had to be reattached, mixing bowls non-existent, all kitchen cutlery dull with no sharpener! We bought a new skillet, simple utensils, mixing bowls and a scrub brush at a hardware store 13 miles away! I repaired the electric pancake griddle, outdoor gas grill burners corroded & not functioning, outdoor electric grill was extremely dirty and missing lid & grill. This venue may be great for large scale catered events such as weddings, but terrible for families who want to prepare a simple meal while on the property! The cleaning crew should reimburse the property owners because their services are certainly not up to VRBO quality standards. The $369 cleaning fees you must pay up front are certainly not going towards adequate cleaning services! My family certainly left the property namely the kitchen 400% cleaner than how we found it! FYI...there has been no offer from anyone to reimburse the cleaning fees!!

Eclectic & Amazing
We loved our 5 day stay as a family at the ranch. The place is amazingly unique and wonderful. The location was wonderful to go explore the area over multiple days without the feeling of in a tourist area. We would high recommend the place for a western family getaway. Loved every minute.

Great family escape
We visited the ranch with our kids another family - was a great place to escape for a few days. The house itself is great, with plenty of space to spread out and lots of different common areas. The kids loved the playrooms and bunk room. The location is amazing, and there's lots to explore. The game room/area is a nice touch, but could use a little love - everything definitely shows some wear and tear: the air hockey table is missing the "air" part and the ping pong equipment has seen better days. As a result, we barely used it. The beds were pretty comfortable, and we loved the big dining table and the kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. Overall, we loved our trip and the surrounding area is amazing.

Exceeds Expectations!
We stayed at the Guyton Ranch for an amazing event. The ranch was spectacular and we felt right at home! They have thought of every detail from tiny creature comforts to the cozy accommodations, to a building and spot for everything and everyone. We stayed 2 days/1 night. There were about 80 people at the event. We had a great time with the activities, socializing, eating, taking in the views, and exploring this awesome venue! The Guyton's are easy to work with and eager to please. All of our expectations were exceeded. The property is so versatile, I think you could host most any size and type of event. We can't wait to go back!

Amazing place!
I have been a guest at the Guyton Ranch for small and large events. It’s really a special place for both types of events. The house is cozy and charming for intimate time with close friends and family with so many different areas of the home to enjoy. On the other hand, the seemingly unlimited choices of spaces for large events opens up the venue for anything you can imagine. The incredible views and outdoor space are enough to make any wedding magical. But the additional unique barns, dancehall, chapel and silos provide so many options for the reception, rehearsal dinner or any events before and after the wedding, and back up if it rains. There’s so much space on the beautiful 330 acres you’ll feel like you have the whole state to yourself even though it’s very accessible to Denver and Breckenridge. Top all that off with hosts that truly want to make your wedding the best day of your life and you can’t go wrong with this venue.

Weekend Away with Friends
The Guyton ranch is in the top 5 places I have ever been. From the moment I drove through the ranch gate I knew I was in love. This house is incredible, it has that western charm and is decorated perfectly. Every room I walked into was my new favorite, the saddle seats in the kitchen were a very cool touch and fun for pictures, the bedrooms were all very cozy and had such attention to detail that I would have been happy to stay in any of them. My top two favorite spots were the silo sitting room because it was so different, and a very cool use of space, and my favorite spot was the living room with the oversized glass doors showing off the incredible views of the mountains. Then I went outside and saw the attention to details in all the out buildings! The owners did an incredible job capturing the wild west theme of the super fun accessory building and the games inside were very fun. Both the dance room, and the function hall were absolutely beautiful complete with a rustic feel. I would not change one thing about this Ranch! The first night we sat in the rocking chairs out on the front porch with a drink in our hands listening to some music and watching a thunder storm off in the distance, I was in pure bliss. The next morning I woke up early and enjoyed the stillness in the air as the sun rose over the mountains, it was an incredible view of the fields with cows and the most breathtaking mountains. During the afternoon we went exploring the town where we went horseback riding, and to a local saloon for a beer, and then we explored more of what this cute little town had to offer. Then we went back to the ranch and walked along some trails to enjoy the fresh air. Cooking dinner in the kitchen was so easy as they had everything we needed to make a home cooked meal. We ate dinner at the indoor/ outdoor table looking out at the mountains. That evening we had a fire outside under the stars… you have never seen stars like this! It was by far the best viewing of the stars I have seen yet. Needless to say, I have fallen in love with this ranch and can’t wait to get back there. You and your group will not be disappointed if you choose to stay here. I highly recommend staying at the Guyton Ranch!

Special Place!
Wow, what a view! Coming over Kenosha Pass on Hwy285 is a grand preview to this amazing ranch. Genius envisioned what this place could be ... can only imagine the work put in to build both a quaint and fully functional and capable venue. What to do... go fishing, hiking, exploring nearby or simply sit in the front porch and watch the day go by. Breathe.Relax.Smile Well done

This was an amazing stay. The ranch is huge, well stocked, and in a remote and quiet location. The views and ranch are incredibly scenic. We comfortably had an extended family of 12 here for 10 days. I highly recommend this place for large groups looking for a great spot in Colorado.”

Fall Wedding!

Great place to spend time with our family and enjoy the outdoors
“We had our wedding at Guyton Ranch on 9/21 and loved this venue! It offers so many advantages to couples who want a dream wedding on a tight budget. Some of the advantages of the space: - I loved having the venue for the whole weekend. We got to spend precious time with our wedding party the whole weekend and be together on the ranch. - We had all day Friday to decorate and have the rehearsal dinner on the ranch. We used the game room space for an intimate dinner with the wedding party and family. - The space is so fun! There are so many different areas that we used and had fun with. They have a few propane pits where we made smores. A small cute barn where we served dessert. Space for yard games and basketball. - the main barn venue is GORGEOUS. I loved the wood features, chandeliers, the book shelves at the back. The two bar options were perfect and we used them both! There are so many fun, unique, rustic decorations that makes this space really fun. - the Airbnb “Ranch House” is really fun and unique too. They have a very nice, well stocked kitchen and a fun bar with saddles to sit on! There are lots of sleeping options in the house itself. - the views are stunning! You can see the mountains and aspens from the venue and it’s simply breathtaking. - Allison is delightful to work with. She even welcomed us to the Airbnb with kitchen towels with our new last name together on it! How amazingly sweet. -I loved the flexibility of this venue!
