We were a group of two families with kids coming up for a ski trip on MLK weekend. This cabin was perfect! There’s a downstairs bonus room where the kids could escape to play video games, watch movies, and play foosball. Upstairs the grownups got to unwind and cook together; the kitchen was well-stocked! And all 8 of us fit at the big dining room table for family dinners. What a great spot!
My partner and I were traveling with five kids ranging from ages 5 to 14... The place nicely accommodated the age ranges and needs of each child... It was nice having the downstairs area for the teenagers. And the bunk room with three beds was great for the younger kids. The location is close to shopping, restaurants, resorts, trailheads...We would book there again.
The house is in a great neighborhood and directly next to a stream which gives that beautiful sound of water all day long. Graham was very responsive and easy to deal with. It was also great to be able to bring both our dogs.
We loved this Donner house! Great location, beautiful property, with all the amenities you would need. We were only there a few days, but definitely felt like we could have stayed longer! Graham was great as well. We would love to stay again the next time we head up!
House was great! Setup was perfect for us. Kids love playing in game room. House was
Fully stocked with everything you could need. Graham was very responsive.
We really enjoyed our stay here. The house is spacious and comfortable. It's close to the grocery store, restaurants, and ski resorts. The beds and sofas were really comfortable and we all felt at home. The area downstairs is nice and spacious, a perfect spot for our kids to hang out. Graham was very communicative and understanding as we had to reschedule our trip due to bad weather.
This a lovely property. Very responsive host. We especially loved relaxing by the fire in the Eames chair. Although we didn't really use the downstairs, there is plenty of space for two families. When we were there, the Wii was not working, so bring board games and alternative activities if you are counting on the Wii for snowed in days. Overall, we had a great stay!

Lovely Family Friendly home
The house was clean, neat, nicely decorated and very comfortable. The house had plenty of cooking supplies, dishes, extra blankets, towels, and even cleaning supplies. The downstairs area was awesome for the kids, and so nice that it was separate, we could barely hear their noise while we hung out upstairs. The area is very easy to get around, Safeway is down the street, Donner skiing and snow play areas were really close. The only caution is the steep driveway, it was tricky to park and none of our vehicles could make it into the garage safely, so if had been snowing it would have been a pain. We totally enjoyed our weekend, and absolutely would book again. If we had one suggestion to make the house just perfect, it would be to have one more table for six in the breakfast area for the children to eat at. With 12 people staying we had to eat in turns to fit everyone. Thanks again!
The house was very clean and exactly as described. We had amazing response from our host which was important because we ran into winter weather that forced us to change our return plans.
We enjoyed our stay and were sad to leave. The home was comfortable and spacious. Thee beds were very comfortable. My kids felt right at home. We enjoyed exploring Truckee, Lake Tahoe and Donner Pass. Can’t wait to visit again.
We had a fun winter weekend. This is a great location within Tahoe Donner and close to good trails for snowshoeing. We appreciated being able to bring the doggies! The kitchen was well stocked with tools & equipment, and the house was well appointed. Would rent again.
Our family of 5 adults, 1 child and a dog rented this spacious, well equipped house for Christmas week. It was the perfect location to get snowed in during a snow storm that dropped over 6 feet of snow on Truckee.
This home was perfect for our family’s Holiday. We stayed during Thanksgiving 2 years ago and the amenities location were just as we remembered.

Liked: Check-in, communication, location
Disliked: Cleanliness
Heat and steps
Property had a huge number of steps...should have been a warning for older folks.
Property very bad in the heat...no fans....most windows had no screens...no doors had screens
Decks and house were very dirty
Home was exactly as pictured and very clean. Beautiful location and close to everything you need. Perfect instructions from property manager. Had more than enough room for my family of 7 and love that we were able to bring our pups with us. Enjoyed are stay!
We had a blast at Graham’s home. It is in a perfect location with a great backyard. We enjoyed playing in snow out back and with foosball table downstairs. The beds were comfortable and the updates to the kitchen and bathrooms were a nice touch! The home was clean and the communication was great!
We had the best time at this property and it had everything we needed and more. Snow play was close by for our 7 and 9 year old. Truckee is beautiful and downtown is just adorable. We would love to return in the summer for a totally different setting and experience.
Great stay, tons of space and sleeping options, fully stocked kitchen, driveway was plowed after what appeared to be 5+ feet of snow fall! We enjoyed the fireplace and large dining table for dinner and games, cozy living room and our toddler son loved the mini sledding hill right behind the house. Our dogs enjoyed the big dog bed and toys as well as walks around the quiet neighborhood. We ended up buying a $5 parking pass to the SnoPark at Donner Summit. Definitely go early (by 8:00) on the weekends to get a parking spot. We carved out our own sledding hill in the woods and had a blast for hours. The sledding hill at the resorts are overpriced and for only a short time. We did notice Squaw has disco tubing at night which would have been fun had we not had our toddler son with us. Overall we really enjoyed our stay. Things that would have enhanced the stay....wishing the porches weren't covered with snow and ice as it would have been nice to sit outside or bbq. Obviously snow is inevitable this time of year. Everyone said the beds were comfy, however I think the basement pull out couch could use a new mattress and the murphy bed and loft alcove could use a mattress upgrade as well. We loved having the big media/movie options downstairs for our son, however with the adults upstairs in the evenings, having a smart tv and upgraded movie/roku options upstairs would have been nice as well. We would stay here again. Graham was very helpful and knowledgeable about the area.
