Beautiful modern villa with amazing views

Located above the beautiful Aparima Estuary, capturing views of the long woods, this home offers plenty of space for the family. Short walking distance to your local supervalue, cafes and resturants. Short 10 minute drive to Colac bay where you can hire surfing gear, kayaks ect or just sit back and relax on the deck and take in the beautiful Riverton sunsets. Built in 1914 this house has huge character beautifully restored keeping it modern but not losing any charm. Stunning rimu floors throughout the house. New big fireplace. A play room to keep the kids entertained and plenty of lawn.

A lovely house in Riverton

This house is in a perfect location for exploring the Riverton area. In general, the accommodation was very good with all modern conveniences. There are a few things that would have made it excellent. When we arrived there weren't many towels to be found. On exploring, we found the towels in the clothes dryer obviously from the previous tenants. Nightstands next to beds and basic toiletries in the showers would have been greatly appreciated. We have found the latter in every other AirB&B we have stayed in. Also, some sort of luggage stand would be helpful in the bedrooms. The microwave oven didn't work. Although we notified the owner on the first day, it was not repaired or even looked at, as far as we know, before we left three days later. I hope these comments will only help to improve an already very good accommodation.

Riverton for Xmas

Close enough to family on a farm in Drummond/Oreti area: quiet, spacious and comfortable. We would have appreciated an iron and ironing board, hairdryer, stainless steel bowls to whip cream given it was Christmas. Never mind we made the most of what Riverton had to offer- Xmas parade, blue cod fish takeaways. It was all about family memories. Thank you. Glenda and Richard

This is the second time in 1 month we decided to stay in this house because it ticks all the boxes for us! It is very homely, perfect location, the views are amazing and the host is super helpful! Don't look further for the best stay in Riverton!

So pleased we managed to secure this property. Beautiful warm comfortable home with million dollar views. Everything you need. Close to cafes and restaurants with a 20 min drive to the city. Comfortable beds and great kitchen and bathrooms. A ++++

Amazing!!

This house felt like a home away from home! As soon as you walk in, you are amazed by the great views from the big windows. The house has everything you need, has very big bedrooms and very comfy beds. The kids area is very nice as well. We loved staying here for 2 nights and will definitely be back!

Extremely dissatisfied and upset

- not enough towels -only 4 knives with eight forks -heat pumps were advertised but when we arrived there was no remotes we questioned this and were told no they had taken them away as the last people used to much power - no hot water three days out of five even tho they had a plumber and electrician out it was only successful for a night - we have also asked that we had only 5 guests not the original 9 due to a family death and have had no response from host - oven microwave bench tops all dirty , - holes in one sliding door due to repairs so wind whistling thru We would like to discuss refund
