Rest on the sunny patio or melt by the fireplace as you soak up the mountains. Choose your mountain adventure: hike, bike, ski, paddle. A 2 min walk brings you to the Shops of Canmore, spa, restaurants, local brewery or the babbling Policeman's Creek. Follow the creek, a 10 minute walk to our quaint downtown or drive 20 min to Banff. End your evening by playing board games, using the local soaps, tea/coffee that are provided and snuggle into our velvety bamboo sheets.


AMENITIES:
Our 2 storey condo with a private entrance features 2 bedrooms (+ a sofa bed), 2.5 bathrooms, 2 patios, one sheltered for rainy days with a hammock, and one sun kissed with a barbecue and patio sofa. Use the secure storage locker for your bikes, skis, and all your gear. The living room has a 58" TV (cable/Netflix), DVDs, board games and yoga mats, next to a full kitchen and half bathroom. The master bedroom has a 55" TV (cable/Netflix) and private ensuite full bathroom. The second bedroom has a 43" TV (cable/Netflix) and a private ensuite full bathroom.

We provide local products such as Rocky Mountain Soap in all of our bathrooms, Eclipse Coffee, Le Chocolatier chocolates, and 8 varieties of teas during your stay.

Don’t worry about getting dirty, we have free in-suite laundry, a fully equipped kitchen in case you decide to eat in (condiments removed due to Covid) and a desk if you need to work while on vacation. Cool down with AC on hot summer days and warm up by the fire on snow frosted evenings. An outdoor shared hot tub and indoor gym are both located on the ground floor.


CHILD FRIENDLY:
To make your family getaway easier, we provide a stroller, high chair, children's plates/bowls/cups/cutlery, 2 pack n play cribs, children's books, toys, and a baby monitor (only provided when asked for in advance).


GREEN FRIENDLY:
We care about the environment, and do our part to conserve, reduce, and choose environmentally friendly products. Our hand soap, body wash, shampoo and conditioner are plant based, local and natural products supplied by Rocky Mountain Soap. All cleaning products and laundry detergents are eco friendly. We use a professional cleaning and laundry service that uses non-toxic eco-friendly products.

This is a well appointed and stocked property with guests' comfort in mind. Outstanding communication, responsive to questions. I have stayed in many vacation rentals and this is the first one that had such a well stocked kitchen, everything you need to cook like her are at home...pots, oil, s&p, foil etc...They provided alovely welcome basket with snacks and coffee along with a supply of varied tea. Bathrooms CLEAN and also well stocked with additional TP and larger bottles of body wash/shampoo etc...Adequate towels, bet linens very nice. the deck on main floor was lovely with BBQ and seating (may suggest they have covers for the seating to keep it dry) and downstairs patio felt private and would be an excellent spot on a hot day. Communal hot tub and gym area very clean and well maintained. Quiet building and very walkable to main street and other services. Also had immense collection of DVDs and selection of games as well as items if an infant or child was in tow (playpen, toys). Only downside to this property is the tight parking spaces..."Do-able" but stressful if have larger vehicle. Would absolutely recommend this property and would book again without hesitation. A real Gem for families or small groups.

Why they chose this property

This centrally located neighborhood is near Canmore's newest developments and restaurants. The Shops of Canmore has local cafes, restaurants, and lounges, as well as eclectic shopping options. Across the street is Rapunzel's day spa as well as Spring Creek. Spring Creek offers a beautiful short walk beside a babbling creek that leads to Canmore's Main street of downtown. In Spring Creek you will find the Bridgette Bar and Restaurant, The Pulse Cafe, along with other restaurants and galleries.

Our property has two beautiful patios to enjoy in the summer. Whether you are relaxing in the hammock, outdoor sofa, or barbeque one the grill. During those hot days you can cool off with our air conditioned space. Or, on the cold days warm up next to the fireplace. The shared hot tub and gym allow you to relax or upkeep your fitness goals. We have two yoga mats in our unit for guests to use.

Travelling with kids? We have a toy basket full of fun books, games, and things to keep the little ones entertained. Upon request we have a baby monitor available. Feeling nostalgic? Check out our selection of DVD's and boardgames.

The Sleepy Moose is stocked with local goodies to enhance your experience. We supply you with eco-friendly and plant based shampoo, conditioner, hand soap and body wash from The Rocky Mountain Soap Company. The local coffee roastery Eclipse is gifted with your stay, along with Le Chocolatier dark chocolates. A gift basket of assorted snacks await your arrival.
