Not good
The place was not the cleanest when we arrived. It was definitely not ‘newly renovated’ writing on the walls in the bedroom and dirty walls. Linen in the dryer and dishes in the dishwasher, dirty benches and hob. The oven makes a terrible noise! After our stay we were wrongly accused of damaging an e-bike that we didn’t use! Luckily Bookabach were good about this and we didn’t have to pay the money that the host asked for after we left! The place is in a good location but I would definitely not stay here again. The host turned up unannounced shortly after we arrived apologising of the cleaning ‘was not up to our standards’. She kindly offered a trailer that wasn’t road worthy to use on for the rail trail and we did borrow one regular bike that we were thankful for. The hours spent on the phone to bookabach afterwards regarding the damage was a serious downturn for our holiday. After
The house was surrounded by scaffolding (literally!!) making it very difficult to get inside.
We thought we had the wrong house as we didn’t think anyone would rent out a house in that condition.
We literally had to climb over and duck under scaffolding while carrying our suitcases into the house. If we weren’t arriving late, we’d have driven on. When I contacted the owner with photos of how difficult the house was to access, she responded very rudely, saying of course she knew what her house looked like! She clearly thought I was outrageous to ask for a reduction in the price, or expect to know the house I rented was under major construction.
The house was fine once we managed to get inside but I would certainly not rent from this owner again.
Top location just a couple of blocks from restaurants and shops.
Genuinely welcoming hosts who have thought about what you might need during your stay and gone above and beyond.
Substantial home with brand new expansive kwila sun deck.
I have not stayed anywhere with water pressure as strong- great shower!

Nice property
We spent a family vacation at the house. The house is well equipped for our stay and kitchen is functional. Would be perfect if they have one more shower.
