6/10 Okay

The property was very overpriced for its size and facilities, being one large open room with a separate shower/toilet. We paid over $600 a night midweek in the October school holidays plus cleaning fee. The previous day we stayed in Dunsborough in a comparable B&B with a bonus spa bath for $180 a night. So this place is not value for money.
It has a door that joins the main house but still feels private and we didn’t hear anyone through the wall, the view was awesome, although we struggled to eat a meal outside as the table was very small. The gas fireplace was lovely as were the hand knitted blankets. The furniture was mostly ikea, the lounge wasn’t comfortable, kitchen useable but only just. The portable stove needed instructions and kept turning off, on a plus the knife was sharp, and there were good utensils, but limited crockery. They have foxtel but the tv remote was broken, so we were unable to turn it off and ended up switching off at the wall. The rugs on the floor look lovely but are a slip hazard, the curtains and blinds are damaged and windows/fly screens were dirty. The small stairs to get to the bed are spiral, show caution when using. The toilet flush is loose and close the blinds when in the bathroom as many people can see in. On the plus side they did supply quality chemical free shampoo, soap, body wash and conditioner. The dish soap was also earth friendly. Unfortunately the shelf in the shower did look like it was about to fall off. But a great location
