Casa Celaje (Spanish for sunset afterglow sky) is an award-winning design home (completed in 2020) in the Las Huacas section of Nosara. It has spectacular views of the Pacific Ocean from all parts of the house and is located on a quiet laneway with a high wall adding to the privacy.
Enjoy sunset drinks from the pool area, dining room, bedrooms, or one of the many balconies. Short 5-minute drive to Guiones and Pelada beaches. Note that Nosara beaches are part of Ostional Wildlife Refuge a major nesting area for Olive Ridley sea turtles. As a result, houses near the ocean do not have views as building is not permitted within 200 meters of the high water mark.
The master bedroom (king size) has spectacular views and a wrap-around balcony. The ensuite bathroom includes a large shower, bathtub, and double sink. The toilet is intelligent Japanese style and includes a bidet. The second bedroom has a queen size bed, ocean views, and walk-out to the patio. It shares a bathroom with the adjoining 3rd bedroom with a queen-sized bed.
The kitchen, family room, and dining room are on the same level as the entrance and all have ocean views. The kitchen is fully equipped and includes a large granite countertop island and a wine fridge.
The home has an office with a large solid Guanacaste hardwood desk and an art studio that has a pull-out sofa. On the lower level, we have our teak floor yoga room and laundry room.
The infinity pool is family-friendly with a shallow walk-in area and stairs. In the pool area, we have a 2nd kitchen with a bar area along with a 3rd full bathroom as well as an outdoor shower near the pool. The infinity pool looks out at the Pacific Ocean. The property has a steep drop-off beyond the pool with no one below and no obstructions.
The entrance to the property and driveway is via an electronic gate at the end of a quiet laneway. A smaller keyed gate is located further down the 60-meter wall that runs the length of the laneway ensuring privacy.
The gardens are professionally landscaped and maintained and include a mature mango tree, two rare cocobolo trees, and an orchard with banana, lime, lemon, and avocado trees.
The property manager (Anabelle Alvarez Campo ####) will provide a full briefing on the property and is available to assist guests with activities. She can provide additional housekeeping at the renter's expense.
In addition to the security provided by the Las Huacas Community Association, the house has its own monitored security system.
A video of the house is available on request.
