We stayed there for two days. Although it was mid-summer, the cottage remained cool, and we didn't need any fans. We were welcomed by beautiful and friendly dogs. My little dog loved staying there, and one of the dogs took special care of us—my dog, my partner, and me. He made sure we were all alright. We had a great time!
The cottage had rustic charm, as well as the property. Had all amenities including big screen, all channels TV. Could do with a refresh here and there.
We really enjoy our stay, the cottage is very nice and cute, comfy bed, kitchen equip with utensils and bathroom is good, the 2 dogs are very friendly except ours are yappy.

We had two nights at the cottage it was perfect everything we needed.
It’s was such a nice place to just relax after a week of road tripping from the great ocean road
Cute little cottage for a weekend getaway. Had everything we needed and was close to Bathurst. Hosts were very helpful!
There’s no bathroom door, which was a little awkward at times (although my carpenter husband had lots of ideas on how to add a door).
Thanks for sharing your cottage with us.
The property was so cute and cosy and has been renovated beautifully. The bed was so comfortable it was hard to get out of! Robert and Tanya are lovely hosts and their 2 dogs very friendly. My dog loved his time on their large property and went for a swim in the river just a few minutes from the cottage. Would definitely stay again if I am visiting Bathurst in the future.
We enjoyed our stay of 2 nights at The Dairy Cottage. It was spotlessly clean, the kitchen had everything we needed and there was plenty of hot water for the shower. It was lovely sitting on the verandah in the morning sun whilst we ate our breakfast and watched the birds. The one thing we did not like was that there is no door on the toilet/ bathroom.
The 1830 Dairy cottage is everything that was advertised. The cottage was clean, kitchen was stocked with all the essentials you required, the bed was so comfortable.
Sitting on the front verandah watching the birds and a kangaroo was peaceful and exactly what we wanted after a day in Oberon and the autumn gardens
There is little Wifi reception but it was a pleasure to just enjoy the country side and peace.
I can highly recommend this cottage and will be coming back as we want to explore more of the area

A great place to stay for the peace and quiet of the countryside. Lovely rural views from the front verandah. The cottage had everything we required for a two night stay. The hosts were welcoming and friendly and there if we needed anything. The only slight downside (and one must remember it's a country cottage) was the WiFi was very patchy and could only reliably be accessed when standing outside the cottage. No hesitation in recommending this place!
We have had a delightful stay at 'The Dairy Cottage' @ Westham; Brewongle. Everything was as described. It was a very comfortable & relaxing time. The couple close by were very helpful & friendly. The dogs were gorgeous & were a pleasure to have around. The kitchen was well equipped & it was great to have an oven and stove-top. The bed was comfy and the quilt was extra warm on the cooler nights. Thank you for a great relaxing stay!
Lovely little 1830’s cottage. It has everything you need to enjoy a quiet getaway. I took my cat and she loved it there and the hosts dogs were fine with my cat. You have a full kitchen with everything you need for cooking. Telephone reception and wifi is poor though this is a place you go to get away from it all. The cottage has a very comfortable bed, the owners left me alone and I had a very peaceful time. I highly recommend this cottage if you are looking to escape the city, the drive into Bathurst is less than 15 minutes for your shopping needs.
Had a 4 day stay at the cottage.
The cottage is cosy and good for 1 or 2 people. The kitchen is well equiped, the bed comfortable.
The cottage is close to the main house on the property and relatively close to the road that is the main road between Bathurst and Oberon. Personally I found the road noise to be annoying with regular trucks for the forestry department. It was a good base to explore the area, rather than chill at a cottage in the country,
We loved our stay at The Dairy Cottage. It was perfect for a day trip to Mayfield Garden. We stayed 2 nights & also visited Oberon, less than an hour away & Bathurst 15 mins away. The cottage was spotless & the bed comfy. Everything was supplied, even bbq sauce & paper towels. We had lasagne heated in the oven on our first night, then a bbq the next. Bought our supplies in Bathurst. Sat on the verandah & listened to the birds & watched the kangaroos in the paddocks, with the delightful dogs, Dusty & Lucy.
Tania & Rob are perfect hosts. Highly recommend.
I'd be careful with the shelf next to the bed , could be a good place to knock your head!! and the hosts dog whimpered outside the door throughout the night #1, and it's just accommodation, no breakfast . No decent coffee machine.
Tania and Rob were amazing hosts throughout our entire stay. From the moment we arrived and the moment we left my partner and I loved every minute. The cottage had everything that we needed for our stay. Lucy and Rusty were the highlight of our trip. Fire at night below the stars was perfect. Location is fantastic, roughly 10 minutes Bathurst but feels like an hour away. Bathurst had everything we needed if we forgot anything. The bed was very comfortable and kitchen equipped with everything we needed. Surprised to find the shower pressure was perfect and generated hot water very fast. Will definitely be coming back.

Disappointing after 5 star reviews
Host did not greet us or leave milk for tea & coffee. Host 2 dogs were the only friendly ones at the property although first night they barked all night and one was very thin and was looking for food. No firepit, which we were looking forward to at night. Outlook was disappointing as main view was looking at old shed and old machinery and timber lying around. No WiFi and poor TV reception. We would not return 😒
The property was good. The only issue was the internet connection. The 5G modem needs to be placed in very specific places to get reasonable internet speed and I had to work that out. Happy to provide advice to the owners on that one if they call me.
Cleanliness was excellent (don’t leave the verandah light on in the evening… lots of bugs will gather). Everything else was as expected so no surprises. Overall I was very happy.
I suggest air con be installed one day. It was not in the list of inclusions so it didn’t affect my star rating.
