What a great get away cabin! Can’t wait to come back to Maine... it was great to see boats right in front of us pulling lobstah traps! Hope to comeback again.

Beautiful location but the beds are so uncomfortable it was hard to sleep at night.
Once the owner replaces the bed Which seems to have broken springs, I would give this place five stars it’s very clean location is superb.
We enjoy this little cottage quite a bit. Usually very clean upon arrival. Great view. Nice sounds of tide waters due to close shoreline proximity. Bring your own sheets and towels, but everything else is there for you.
This was an absolutely glorious cottage, with a very well-appointed kitchen that had nearly everything needed to prepare meals. The view was spectacular and the beds were so comfortable. We also got to see some wildlife, as there was a deer that frequented the yard. We also spotted a fox! There was plenty to do, even on rainy days, so I am glad that we forgot to bring our own movies, because there was a huge selection of DVDs to choose from. There were also plenty of games and books. Travelers booking this will want to make sure to bring plenty of towels (which we did); the location means that towels do not dry as quickly. I noticed that another reviewer noted the the shower was small, and it is; however, it wasn't impossible to use (and this is a cottage). Everything was delightful, and we certainly enjoyed our stay.
This was a great place to get some writing done and relax - the cabin is relatively sparse but overall nicely decorated, view to the water is incredible and neighbors are friendly and helpful. There's plenty of nice things to do in the Harpswell area and the Casco Bay.
A positive experience renting the property; enjoyed the coziness, the wide windows up and downstairs, the nautical and beach art throughout. Easy to just relax!
Wonderful accommodations for a couple or small family. Cottage is well appointed and very cozy. Enjoyed sitting outside on quiet bay drinking coffee/wine , watching fishing boats begin/end their day, and water fowl and resident eagle doing their thing. Plenty to explore in between.
A very relaxing time in a very serene setting. Easy access to food , gas and shopping, but remote enough for a peaceful coastal Maine experience . Love it !!!!!!
Initially, it looked small. The inside was perfect and nicely laid out. We ate local seafood, a bit of sightseeing, movie watching, writing, and reading. We never used the stove once, tho' it was a nice addition, should we have needed it. It was a watery escape with the birds. It was quiet and I slept the best ever.
The cottage was adorable and exceptionally clean. Location was wonderful - quiet and serene and ideal for a week of relaxation. Owners left a manual of things to do and places to go and we experienced many of them - all interesting and fun. The beaches were low key and within small coves and bays and that's what we wanted. Surprisingly, living on Lake Champlain on the Canadian border, we experience much rougher water, waves, and wind. We love our home but it's nice to experience a different environment and Maine is so lovely. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this delightful and well-stocked cottage.
This is a gorgeous, serene, quiet place on the water. My husband and I needed a respite, and this place caught us beautifully. Maine has so much to offer. We enjoyed getting out to the beach, visiting nearby harbors, and getting on a boat tour! We mostly enjoyed the quiet of the house; reading and writing near the water. Loved it here and hope to come back!

Lovely, extremely comfortable house in a very private setting.
THE HOUSE: I loved the house. Looks small outside but never felt small inside. Large windows all the way across water side were special! Beautiful morning light, lovely ocean breezes, the sound of rippling water. Kitchen was well stocked. Furniture, comfortable. Nice bedroom! Slept better there than at home. (It's nice to wake up to coastal sounds.)The owner has taken great care to make it feel homey and welcoming. Even though there are a couple of houses nearby, It felt secluded and indeed, is a good distance from any beaten path. The house is only a few yards from a very steep drop down to the water. A Peregrine Falcon dined in tree next to house. It could not have been more comfortable. THE AREA: There are a few good restaurants within about 10 min. drive. Harpswell really doesn't have a town center. There are a couple of markets scattered around to buy provisions but true grocery shopping would be done in Brunswick. That never bothered us. We always enjoyed the ride through some pretty countryside. When arriving, it's a good idea to buy groceries in New Brunswick before arriving at the house. Seascape is a great base from which to take lots of excursions. Harpswell area is loaded with good hiking areas with interesting topography...woodland, ocean's edge, or rocky coast. Seascape was exactly what we were looking for.

Ocean front cottage
The cottage itself was everything promised and right on the water. Dianna is an excellent host and the only thing that would have enhanced our stay was better suggestions and directions of where to go for things to do locally such as rent kayaks or whale watch. Undortuantely for us everything we attempted to do didn’t work out and the local businesses do NOT seem to appreciate tourism. The trip itself was terribly disappointing for that reason but through no fault of the host. Perhaps offering to arrange for kayak rentals or suggesting other places to find activities that actually operate during their posted business hours would enhance the stay of others. The nearby neighbors were all very pleasant and helpful but otherwise we found the location sadly disappointing due to the limited things to do.
Again, the cottage is lovely and the host was very accommodating but if you aren’t from the area good luck finding things to do

Girl's weekend!
We had such a nice time at Seascape. Everything was just as pictured. We enjoyed having the option to cook in when we were not at the Dolphin Marina Restaurant, which is a must if you are in the area. Thank you for sharing your lovely space!

Lovely seaside retreat
We loved our stay at Seascape! The cottage is at the dead end of a dirt road and right next to the shore. There are neighboring houses not far away, but the situation of the cottage makes it very private even so. Very quiet, no traffic noise except for the occasional boat; really all we heard was the sound of the sea and birds. The house was very clean and thoughtfully equipped with some basics: salt and pepper, sugar, paper napkins, paper towels, soap. We did some of our own cooking, and the kitchen had all we needed. Lots of windows and good light. We were there on a rainy day and the house did not seem gloomy. Good communication with Diana and our deposit was returned within a few days. Really nothing negative to say; it's a wonderful place and we hope to return!

Excellent get away cottage
My sister and I stayed at this cottage for 2 nights, celebrating my recent retirement. This house was absolutely perfect. It is so close to the water, you almost feel like you are in a boat. Everything was very neat and clean and so quiet. We took day trips to visit the sights and our weather was perfect. Be sure to try the Dolphin Marina for dinner at sunset. And we had great fun renting a kayak from Orrs Island. If we have a chance, we will definitely come back again.

About the host
Hosted by Diana StPierre
My husband and I found this property while taking a walk in the area. We own another property within walking distance. We loved that it was right on the water. It was a falling down shack, which my husband lovingly redid over the course of two years. We love having it near our other place as we have a big family and it gives us a chance to spread out.
Why they chose this property
We bought property in this area because my husband's family is from Maine and summered on Cundy's Harbor. We live in Ct. As a boy his family always vacationed at the family camp in Cundy's Harbor, as we did when we had children. As our family grew we needed more room, loved the area, and decided to buy property.
What makes this property unique
We love that this property is at the end of dead end road, so very quiet. And of course you can't beat the view of the criibstone bridge across the water. We love watching the lobster boats go by, and to get those cooling ocean breezes on a warm summer day.
