Strait Chillin is a beautiful four-bedroom, four-bath home directly across the street from the beach! Public beach access within walking distance. The home is located in East 11 Cottages, a quiet community with an outdoor pool (not heated) in the heart of Gulf Shores.

• Access to the balcony is from the living room and primary bedroom

• Luxury vinyl wood plank flooring is throughout the home

• The kitchen is fully equipped kitchen with everything that you need in your home away from home. The dining room table seats eight and there are three bar stools for additional seating.

• Full-size washer and dryer in the home

• The living area has a sofa sleeper

• The primary bedroom has a king-size bed

• The second bedroom has a queen-size bed

• The third bedroom has two twins over full bunks and attached bath. *Children six years or younger should not be permitted on the top bunk.

• The fourth bedroom, located on the 1st level, has a king-size bed and a shared bath

• No waiting in long lines for check-in or check-out!

• Maximum of four cars allowed to park under the home. No boats, watercraft, campers or trailers are allowed.

• Absolutely NO SMOKING on the property!!!

• Minimum age to rent is 25.

$400 FREE Activities Daily-Guests will receive one complimentary admission to our select activities per day. You can go to every one of these activities every day, and one person will be free per day. Additional guests will pay full price. Admissions are non-cumulative and non-transferable. Unused admissions expire daily.

So yes, you may choose to go fishing in the morning (one person is free), then golf at lunch (one person is free), and then go to the zoo that afternoon (one person is free). Or you may choose to go to the zoo in the morning with the kids (one person is free), and your husband can play golf (one person is free) and then meet that afternoon to go on the dolphin cruise (one person is free.) You may do some or all of these select activities every day, and one of your parties is free every day.

These activities are yours to use if you choose to do so at no additional cost or obligation.

*Does not apply to monthly reservations, and some activities are seasonal

Great place to stay

This is a very nice place to stay in a great location. Easy access to the beach and within walking distance to town. Accommodations are very nice, furniture comfortable, and plenty of kitchen items.

Class of 1975 friends

8 of us that graduated from high school in 1975 at Evansville WI frequently take trips together and this was awesome. Close proximity to beach , pool on property and unit was very clean and beautifully decorated. Would definitely come back.

Great location

The location/access to the beach was great. We were with 5 teenage kids and the home was a great size and set up for that. Adequate kitchen provisions and towels for our group. There were some issues, I’ve submitted via the “report an issue” tab that would have made our stay better. We did not take advantage of the free activities on our trip.

Amazing Vacation

We had 13 in our group! It was absolutely amazing! The place is beautiful! Not far from the beach. Each walk, and close enough for our teens to walk around and see things! The house was beautiful, had great communication with the property managers, kids loved the pool outside and wr just had the best time! Will definitely be coming back!

Our stay at this property and in Gulf Shores was fantastic. We traveled with 3 families and a total of 13 people (adults and children). This house fit us all comfortably and was just a quick walk across the street from the beach. It was alos great to have the pool just off the porch. We would definitely come back!

Great location

This is a great property in a great location. Easy walk to the beach. Have to cross a busy road but there is a light. The 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms wired great for our family. It was decorated nicely and property manager replied quickly to any issues. Would definitely stay there again.

Chillin in Strait Chillin!

The beach house is just the cutest! We loved it and did not want to leave! The walk to the beach is not bad. I wouldn’t want to do it with really small children but the youngest we had was 8 and it was fine! The pool was awesome and the kids loved it! We grilled out for Memorial Day and made lots of memories!

Strait Chillin’

My family and I just finished out stay and we really enjoyed ourselves and our time. The location of the house is perfect- quiet and away from the hustle of the main streets but close enough to walk to plenty of places. The beach is a very short walk from the house, but I do recommend a beach wagon to make it as easy as possible! The house itself was clean and spacious for all 13 of us! I also recommend you bring any extra blankets as the ones provided are a little thin, but overall nothing to complain about. There were plenty of dishes, glasses, silverware, and other kitchen supplies. Our ONLY complaint was the ice maker had a hard time keeping up, so bring a bag of ice or two to make life easier. All in all, 10/10 recommend this house!

Beautiful Home / Great Location

Perfect location. Convenient to many restaurants and shops (walking distance) and short walk to beach. A ladder to one of the bunk beds was broken and there was an issue with an upstairs bathroom. Maintenance was at the house promptly and resolved the concern quickly with no interruption to our trip. Would prefer an outdoor shower to remove sand. Couldn’t find one at the pool. Perfect place to stay if traveling with family/kids/friends/etc. Definitely worth it.

Nice trip

The house was beautiful and clean. It easily and comfortably handled our group of 14. We had kids of all ages, and they each had a great time. The setup of the rooms were perfect, and I loved the bathrooms for each room! We enjoyed meeting the different groups around us too! We were disappointed in the pool-it was very small and hot, not a refreshing cool off from the beach we had hoped for. It got crowded rather quickly also. The walk to the beach was further than we anticipated, but manageable with our wagon. Our biggest issue was the lack of a property ice machine. That would be a life saver for ice chests each day-even if we had to pay a couple dollars for each fill. We also would’ve liked a beach rinse off on the property. We did find a faucet in our driveway, but no hose attached so rinsing everything was a little tricky. The location to stores and restaurants were great! The wind was intense on the balcony so hooks outside for drying towels or suits would be helpful. Also, the doors to the balcony areas would get swept away so quickly and took out some of our smaller kiddos. The description said the house was hooked up with an echo that could explain things to us if we asked, but it wasn’t able to tell us anything-it would say it couldn’t help us with that. It did play music-which was great! The remote was broken to the tv and we couldn’t move to select options. We downloaded a Roku remote to our phone (thank God for teenagers) and were able to use it on day 2.

East Eleven Cottage K Strait Chillin

We enjoyed our stay in this cottage in Gulf Shores from late January to March 1. The house was very clean & we felt comfortable staying here. The only issue was when weather was colder outside, it was very warm on the 2nd floor & cool on main level. We tried closing vents upstairs but that didn't help much plus floors on main level were also cool. Once weather was warmer, it was fine. We definitely enjoyed our visit & would stay here again.
