Lovely little house

Overall has a great stay. Check in was easy and there was a nice personalized note. Check out was even better with no laundry list of things to do before exiting. My reason for the 4 stars is the bathing experience. Beautiful claw footed tub but the shower curtain was all over you when showering. How about taking a bath? Well the stopper didn’t work very well so the water drained out quickly and there wasn’t enough hot water to replenish at the rate it was draining. But you can tell the owners love this little house and there are a lot of nice little details making this an overall enjoyable experience.

Exactly as advertised. Very cute and well kept place. Close to everything but in a quiet neighborhood. Will definitely be back when we revisit.

Very clean little cottage - highly recommend!

Small 2 bedroom/1 bath house that was the perfect stop on our Washington road trip. Walking distance to grocery store and some restaurants. Love that we were able to do our laundry midweek - host even provided laundry soap - wow! Great WiFi and cable TV. House was a 9/10 for sure. Only thing that would have been nice were luggage racks or something to put suitcase on other than floor. Would definitely stay again and recommend to others.

Best birthday ever

Very struck by the beauty of this home. Very charming. Next to all things you wanna see will in the corner of upper washington. Pently beach accesses. Close to great food, scenery and more. Neighbors in great job to cindy i love conversations with her. Beautiful touches tooneighborhood are very friendly.

Beautiful quaint and cozy

We loved our stay at the seashell cottage! The location is great! We were about 30 min from Madison falls and Marymere falls. And about 45 min from sol duc falls. And the drive to all these places are breathtaking! The walk to downtown was lovely, we loved the farmers market which was walking distance. Safeway literally just around the corner. The beds were comfortable, it was so nice to have a full washer and dryer. We cooked a couple of meals at the house and the kitchen was well stocked. The host is very welcoming, kind and very helpful, we would definitely stay here again, we were sad to leave.

Darling Cottage

A very cozy cottage with close proximity to downtown Port Angeles. Very well equipped but would suggest a clean unused sponge for each guest to use in the kitchen. Overall, a nice little cottage in the heart of Port Angeles.

Cute Cottage in Port Angeles WA

We had a great experience at this cottage, located in a convenient spot in Port Angeles. Cottage was aso advertised with comfortable furniture and TV’s in every room. Enjoyed 3 days of exploring the area. Cindy was a thoughtful host, even providing a snack basket to welcome us. We would definitely stay here again if we ever travel to Port Angeles.

Overall the cottage is very nice. We would suggest the queen size mattress in the bigger bedroom be replaced. It is quite soft and has some dips in it especially sharing with two people. The location is great for getting into the National Park areas, across to Victoria by ferry and walking downtown.

We loved this house! It had everything we needed and was within walking distance of downtown shops and restaurants! We had such a lovely welcome when we first arrived and Cindy and Alan thought of everything to make our stay so easy and relaxing! It was really decorated nicely and the beds were comfortable! The seashell cottage lived up to its name. Coastal was the theme, which was appropriate considering its proximity to the water. Cindy had it stocked with everything we needed. It was a great base for the north side of Olympic National Park, but also close to restaurants, shops, and groceries. We would definitely stay here again.

Olympic National park Trip

We had a great time! The cottage was so cute and sweet! Cindy was easy to communicate with. Great location in Port Angeles and good proximity to ONP. We spent most of our time hiking and it was great to come back and relax after a long day!

We’ve both had the joy of calling this beautiful area home for many years. Alan moved here as a boy in 1969 and grew up just a block away from the Seashell Cottage, while Cindy has been a part of the Port Angeles community since 1965, actively involved with local groups and businesses for over 30 years.

Married in 1981, we raised two wonderful children, and throughout the years, we've spent countless hours exploring and cherishing the natural beauty that surrounds us. We truly love this place and the wonderful people who make it so special.

Now, we invite you to experience the charm and warmth of our Seashell Cottage. Come stay with us and discover all the hidden gems of the area and the breathtaking sights of the Olympic Peninsula that we hold so dear. We’re certain you’ll fall in love with it, just like we have.
