"I had an amazing month-long stay at this studio apartment and would recommend this to anyone visiting DC! It was super close to food, drinks, grocery, and the metro which was very convenient. It is also located in a very quite and safe neighborhood, which I appreciated! The studio had all of the amenities that I needed for a long-term stay, which was great to be able to cook, do laundry, and relax all within the comforts and privacy of the apartment. Galen is very great and prompt when it comes to communication throughout your stay as well! Could not speak more highly of my experience staying at this Air BNB!"

"This apartment is clean, like new, and well-furnished for a long guest stay. The house is very conveniently located,
just a 5-minute walk to the Metro station and good grocery stores and many other services nearby.
Cleveland Park has a leafy canopy of trees and is one of the nicest neighborhoods in Washington,
DC. The apartment opens up onto a quiet garden with birds singing and a cherry tree that blooms
beautifully in spring."

"Lovely little garden apartment in a beautiful home and neighborhood. Looks exactly as in photos.
Has everything you need and then some. Delightful hosts. Easy communication and very responsive.
Short walk to restaurants, grocery, mini-Target, and metro. Highly recommend."
Guest Access:
The secure, private entrance to the apartment requires walking along a well-lit stone path on the side of the main residence to the rear of the home. A few steps involved. Guests only have access to the studio apartment. There is no access to the remainder of the home. We ask that guests check in prior to 9pm.
If you have any mobility issues, this will NOT be the best fit. The cobblestone path is not as smooth as concrete, and also dragging suitcases on it can be a bit tricky. Also you must walk down 5-6 steps to access the front door of the apartment. See the photos for a better idea or contact if any concerns about this.
The Neighborhood:
Cleveland Park provides the best of both worlds - very quiet residential area and busy commercial strip nearby. This apartment is located less than 1 block from Connecticut Avenue, which is full of shopping, groceries, food, local retail and a Gym. The National Zoo is only a couple blocks away. Rock Creek Park and many beautiful walking trails are within walking distance. Will appeal to a nature enthusiast as well as to a restaurant and shopping lover.
Getting Around:
You won't need a car while staying in this location. The Cleveland Park metro station is 3 blocks away and provides quick access to downtown DC (red line) and all tourist attractions. Many bus lines run up and down Connecticut Ave. Uber and Lyft rides are very reasonable to get anywhere around the city.
Other Things to Note:
Longer term stays are preferred. There is a four weeks minimum stay requirement in the availability settings.
FOR OPEN CALENDAR DAYS IN BETWEEN LONGER BOOKINGS, SHORTER BOOKINGS WILL BE ENTERTAINED.
JUST PUT IN A REQUEST - may have to put in for four weeks in the system initially but ask in the message for shorter stay in such a situation.
DC has Occupancy Tax of 14.95% on stays less than 91 days and Airbnb collects that. If your stay is closer to 91 days, then it may be more economical to book for 91 days to avoid this tax.
Some noise does travel from upstairs to the studio apartment and also from this studio apartment to upstairs.
