We stayed at Leah’s house for our family Christmas. Wonderful spot with room for everyone. Skated on the lake and met some of the neighbours. What a great community! We are already making plans to return in summer sometime.
My family had an adults only get away and 12 of us were very comfortable. The property is lovely— spent a lot of time on the lake right from the property’s dock. You will have to buy firewood and the front office might say you’re not allowed to purchase from them (even though arrangements are made for you to purchase from the office) so we found wood from an average down the road (google found her for us). The front office also might try to make you buy passes for each day you’re staying, but you only need extra passes if you plan on leaving the park at all during your stay. The host was super easy to get a hold of and everything was straightforward. We had a great time, highly recommend especially for large groups!

Property was great, it is in a gated park area that requires additional nominal payment for park entry, and access can be an issue off peak hours if the gatehouse isn’t staffed. I feel this could have been better communicated.
The Lakehouse was an amazing venue for our annual girl's retreat weekend. Had a couple hiccups with the lock and park gate, but it all got sorted out quickly. All the beds and linens were wonderful. There were 11 of us and the space was perfectly comfortable. Leah was attentive and helpful whenever needed. Lots of area for nice long walks. We hope to return next year!

Satisfying
There was problems with what’s posted by Verbo regarding the cost. It is not clear and was very surprising when we heard about extra charges. Make sure you know what the end cost is as it depends totally on the number of people who stay.
The water is an issue. Be sure to bring own drinking water. The well water has a smell and bad taste if not used to it.
The manager is very kind and wants to make your stay the best she can. Kudos to Leah!
The Lakehouse is an amazing property, which is situated on Sandy Lake. We enjoyed our girls weekend. There is lots of room inside and outside the property to enjoy the surroundings.
Because of the Alberta forest fires were happening we could not use the beautiful outdoor fireplace, fire table and fire pit area. There is a nice grass area to enjoy outside games.
The park has a great beach area, large playground and nine hole golf course, all well maintained.
