Welcome to Plantation Village!  The Plantation Village Beach Resort is located directly in the heart of 7 Mile Beach, and conveniently close to restaurants, shopping, bars, activities and water sports.

The resort consists of 70 condominiums in a tranquil, scenic setting.  Highlights include the oceanfront freshwater pool plus an additional garden pool, snorkelling, kayaks, bikes, tennis and outdoor BBQ.

Plantation Village #37 is a beautifully decorated and appointed 2nd floor - 2 bedroom, 2 bath condo designed to be your ideal vacation home on 7 Mile Beach.  Unit #37 is professionally managed as a separate property from the Plantation Village rental pool.

Interior:

Plantation Village #37 is a pool view unit, which has been completely & beautifully remodeled.  It has an open floor plan with the living area opening out to the screened garden/pool view lanai, for lounging, coffee, cocktails and entertaining.  The comfy living area has seating for 6 and sports a large-screen HDTV with cable and high-speed wifi throughout.  Enjoy the fully equipped modern kitchen with refrigerator/freezer, ice maker, oven, stove, microwave, blender, drip coffee maker and Keurig K cup coffee maker, wine glasses, cooking utensils, serving dishes, knife block and dinnerware for 6.

Accommodation:

The master bedroom has a king-size bed, TV with w/cable and private bath with walk-in shower. The guest bedroom has a double bed and a twin bed.   High-quality bedding and plenty of towels ensure you are comfortable in all aspects.  There are also 2 complimentary folding beach chairs for your use during your stay.  The condo can sleep a maximum of 5.  A crib and high chair are also provided complimentary to our guests.

Inclusions:

Our guests have access to 2 freshwater pools, 2 grilling areas with large Weber gas grills, a lighted tennis court, plenty of green and garden space, lounge and seating chairs at the pools as well as on the beach and pop-up umbrellas at the pools and beach (please see beach summary below).  The minimum rental age for the condo is 25 years old.

Please Note: The southern end of 7 Mile Beach has been experiencing ongoing migratory sand shifting and beach erosion. The properties south of Grand Cayman Marriott Beach Resort, including the hotel and Plantation Village, have been affected by this erosion at times during the year.  This is a seasonal, cyclical and changing situation. Some weeks there is plenty of sand allowing guests to lounge on the beach, and at other times there is no sand.

Please be aware that there is a chance that the Plantation Village beach may not be present during your stay. There are free public beaches along the balance of 7 Mile Beach to frequent for sunbathing if the beach at the southern end is not hospitable. The water in front of Plantation Village continues to offer guests unparalleled snorkelling, sea kayaking and paddle boarding experiences whether the sand is present or not.  We have discounted our reservation rates to take into consideration this beach issue.

For divers, there is an equipment rinse area and dive excursions can also be arranged.

Convenient Location:

The resort is within a short walk of many excellent shops, restaurants, the post office, a bank, the cinema, bars, pubs, dive shops and duty-free shopping.

Whether you are interested in Stingray City, Star Fish Point, Snorkeling, Scuba Diving or Fishing, tour operators will pick you up at the condo to enjoy the many wonderful sea excursions available in Grand Cayman.

The resort is within a short walking distance of Camana Bay where you will find the largest supermarket on the island, liquor and wine stores, world-class retail stores, banks, healthcare providers, gyms, cinema, over a dozen restaurants, bars, cafés, and specialty eateries.

Our condo is also on the bus route for easy access to downtown George Town, Hell, and the Turtle Farm in West Bay.

The Plantation Village Beach Resort is ideally situated on 7 Mile Beach and neighbours several other highly popular vacation resort properties.

Getting Around:

The nearest airport is Owen Roberts International Airport (GCM). The distance between the condo and the airport is approximately 6 miles (around 10 kilometers). It typically takes about 10-15 minutes by car, depending on traffic conditions.

You can easily get around by walking, taking the public bus or renting a car for part or all of your stay, to be able to explore all of what Grand Cayman has to offer.
