Poorly managed, not an accurate listing, not worth the money
The experience we had with Anna the host was appalling. About a week out from check in Anna tells me that we could no longer stay at this house that I booked back in January 10 months ago. We had booked hair and makeup to come to the house for Melbourne Cup, organised cars to pick us up, we had 7 people and little dogs which had to be reorganised, so at such short notice we had no choice but to accept. She did give us a refund of $600 for the difference in price (which I am still waiting for 16 days after check out). As we had booked 2 house through Anna I was very hesitant to contact her about our frustrations at the time for fear of her cancelling our next booking. I can summarise this house with a few points - not fully fenced as advised by Anna, I checked this with her as it was advertised as pet friendly, it only had 3 fences and a builders site fence that the little dogs could get out of. - no hand towels provided nor was there anywhere to hang our wet towels. - 1 tv in the entire house that was advertised to sleep 18 people which we couldn’t even use for normal channels because it kept asking us to tune it (which didn’t work) - no bbq which you would think is a basic necessity for accommodation letting - a pathetic excuse for an ironing board, one of those desk top ones that you can hardly iron a tshirt on let alone a pair of men’s trousers. So bought our own. - bathroom door upstairs didn’t close - only 2 little lounges to seat up to 18 people! NOT WORTH THE MONEY!!!
