Perfect cottage stay well set up for two people for two nights. The hosts were extremely easy to contact and very helpful. The house is in a great location with the footpath at the front that takes you to town and the boardwalk. We had a very peaceful two night stay. As mentioned in another post just be aware there is no washing machine so for longer stays this could be an issue.
Very comfortable pet friendly little house to explore the area. We had a fantastic 5 night stay. Just a walk around corner to board walk and town. Our dogs loved the off leash beach and swimming in the lagoon. Very well presented clean house great for couples
Comfortable, beautiful decor and perfect location. Kitchen had all the basic plus more. Best choice for a short stay as tbere is no washing machine to deal with your clothes and towels from the days adventures that you do in this amazing .place.
We loved our stay. The house is beautiful and has the best of everything. The garden was so beautiful. I had a look around everyday and saw something different. Our dog loved it as well. Would come back again for sure.

"The Haven" at Urunga is without a doubt the best presented property we have had the privilege to stay at. The little house is perfect for a couple, is very neat, clean and well equipped. Though the coffee maker took a little to work out. Only 30metres to the river walk and then an easy 6 to 7minute walk to the cafes, shops and the Oceanview Hotel. "The Haven" made an excellent base to travel to Bellingen area and the beaches of the Northern NSW coast. The fully fenced yard was perfect for our dog to explore and enjoy. I can recommend "the Haven" to anyone.
The Haven was spelt wrong - it should say Heaven ! Very clean, lots of added extras , very quiet . Lovely kitchen with all you need , a comfortable bed and a dreamy bathroom. Just perfect for a weekend getaway for a couple.
Outstanding accommodation experience and absolutely genuine empathic hospitality from the Hosts.
At a VERY difficult time for us, the hosts helped us with checkin, responded quickly and the place is just a beautiful little gem that’s lovingly presented and cared for. So beautiful and such a needed oasis for us. Can not rave enough about how wonderful this place and our hosts made us feel.
This accomodation is better than advertised by far. The back yard and bbq area make this accomodation so great to relax and unwind along with the immaculate decor inside
I would highly recommend this accomodation for any couple get away and rate it 5 stars.
The Haven is everything the photo's show and more.
I think I fell in love the moment we pulled up outside the cottage.
The owner has put a lot of thought and love into making this a beautiful place to stay.
Everything has been thought of, and the quality of the finishes is a really nice touch.
The bed is like sleeping on a cloud and the outdoor area is so peaceful to sit and enjoy the sunshine.
It is a very quiet neighbourhood and within walking distance from the town and the beautiful boardwalk to the beach.
Only a short trip into Bellingen, and Dorrigo is not too far to explore the forest walks.
I cannot find enough words to describe how much we loved our stay here. I can't wait to stay again.
The Haven is a perfect cottage, near to the sea and boardwalk at Urunga. The small touches made the stay special and I was really comfortable there. I had been worried about the lack of air-conditioning and found on arrival an evaporative unit that worked well. I am grateful for the stay. As a visual artist I appreciated the cohesion of the interior decor very much.
No key in the box when we arrived. Text msg had a key arriving....for the back sliding door. Felt a little uneasy realising that there were missing keys. So, the back sliding door was our method of entry for our stay. The place was as described and superbly decorated. But...only a double bed...but we did know this. Nowhere in bedroom for our bag. No chair or bench. Our bag was then balanced on chair in another room. A step down from bedroom to bathroom...a trick at night. Were there for 2 nights and only one smallish towel each. No microwave. Not happy about used condiments in fridge....but we did not have to use these. Handrail for front steps would have been appreciated. As I said, it was decorated superbly..but a few practical changes/additions would have suited us more. Also, in my opinion, it was overpriced.
