Superb!

Very comfortable, well appointed holiday home in a rural setting only a few minutes drive from Rouffignac village with all the essentials. Plenty to do and see in the area. The house is superb, the owners are very friendly and welcoming, the only downside was the weather so we didn't use the pool as much as we would have liked. The best house we have stayed at in France, we will definitely return.

Séjour exceptionnel

Excellentes vacances dans cette magnifique maison. Cette maison est très bien équipée. Séjour au calme assuré. Excellent accueil des propriétaires très sympathiques. Nous avons également eu le plaisir de faire davantage leur connaissance grâce à leur pot d'accueil. Le séjour était parfait.

The perfect holiday!

We have just spent and amazing few weeks staying in this delightful holiday home in the Dordogne. We have holidayed in this region for the last 9 years, and this property is without a doubt the best one we’ve stayed in. The owners Laurence and Jean-Claude are wonderful and have thought about everything you could possibly need to make your stay perfect. The photos on the website don’t do the property justice- it is immaculate. The dog is a very welcome visitor- so well trained and non intrusive. We will definitely be back.

eine wunderschöne Oase der Ruhe

Bei unserer Ankunft wurden wir von den Besitzern sehr herzlich begrüßt und mit allen wichtigen Infos zum Haus versorgt. Das Ferienhaus liegt ruhig auf einem sehr schönen Anwesen und ist sehr gut ausgestattet und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Es ist ein gelungener Nachbau eines typischen Natursteinhauses mit klassischer Holzdachkonstruktion was ein sehr angenehmes Wohnklima schafft. Der riesige Garten mit der wunderschönen überdachten Terrasse ist herrlich zum Relaxen und wir haben uns immer wieder über die Besuche von der Hündin Louca gefreut. Den sehr schön gelegenen und täglich gepflegten Pool mit Gegenstrom-Anlage haben wir sehr gerne genutzt. Leider war das Wetter in der 1. Woche dafür zu kühl aber wir haben es auch genossen, einfach nur am Pool zu sitzen und in die schöne Landschaft zu blicken. In der sehr gut ausgestatteten Küche haben wir öfters ein kleines Abendessen zubereitet. Wir kommen gerne wieder und können dieses Ferienhaus uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen.

Ganz tolles Ferienhaus

Absolut sauber, gute Betten und leise Klimaanlage, ruhige Lage, man kann sehr gut schlafen. Die Ausstattung übertrifft die Erwartungen. Es ist einfach toll!

Een parel in de Dordogne

Een geweldig huis met alle faciliteiten. De eigenaren wonen naast het huis en zijn zeer gastvrij en vriendelijk. Het zwembad en het huis zijn fantastisch. Ligt midden in de Dordogne zodat alle bezienswaardigheden op korte afstand liggen. Wij gaan zeker terug want het was geweldig.

Ein kleines Stück vom Paradies

Was für ein tolles Haus und was für tolle Gastgeber! Einfach alles war perfekt! Der Garten, der riesige Pool mit Gegenschwimmanlage (!), das top gepflegte Haus, die geschmackvolle Einrichtung und wirklich alles war da, was man braucht! Die Vermieter sind so herzlich, hilfsbereit und freundlich, vielen Dank noch einmal für den netten Aperitif und die Willkommensgeschenke. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder und würden uns sehr freuen, wenn wir wieder in „la Grange“, einem kleinen Paradies, verweilen dürften. Herzlichen Dank!

Un havre de paix, un petit coin de paradis, un refuge sûr et tranquille...

Nous avons séjourné deux semaines dans le magnifique gite "Les Bitarelles". Tout était parfait: une superbe maison d'une propreté étincelante, très bien équipée, au calme... Merci aux propriétaires pour leur accueil, leur disponibilité et leur gentillesse. Tout est pensé, millimétré afin de satisfaire les locataires ! Merci à Louca également! Nous reviendrons avec le buggy et en famille, pour profiter de cette belle région périgourdine et de cette magnifique maison !

Super house and facilities

The house, pool and facilities were amazing very clean and home from home. The house had everything you needed and more. Exceptionally clean and very comfortable. The host were lovely very helpful and we enjoyed being invited to drinks and. Snacks it was an enjoyable evening. It is a great location to all attractions though very peaceful. Looking forward to visiting again soon.

Une semaine bien trop courte

Nous avons passé une semaine inoubliable dans cette magnifique maison au calme et idéalement située pour visiter quelques-uns des plus beaux sites du Périgord. Tout à été intelligemment pensé dans la rénovation de cette maison et la décoration est faite avec goût. Il ne manque absolument rien pour passer un très agréable séjour. Nous aurions juste aimé y rester une semaine de plus... Un grand merci aux propriétaires pour leur accueil et leur gentillesse.

Minder weer, toch aangenaam verblijf

Grote charmante woning met mooi onderhouden zwembad. Heel vriendelijke eigenaars die op hetzelfde domein wonen. Hun lieve labradorhond loopt vrij rond op het terrein, komt geregeld langs om wat te knuffelen, maar is goed getraind en komt het huis niet binnen. We hadden wat pech met het weer. Veel regen en rond de 20° midden juli. De eigenaars wilden ons wat helpen en brachten hout om 's avonds de kachel aan te steken. Erg aangenaam huisje, goeie bedden, airco, alles aanwezig. Ondanks het mindere weer, toch een aangenaam verblijf gehad.

Fantastic Place for sitting by the pool or as a base for exploring

This is a wonderfully equipped and immaculately clean country cottage not far from Rouffignac (about a 5 minute drive). M and Mm Salavert were very welcoming and wanted to make sure we had everything we needed and live not too far away. Spacious public areas with lovely private pool and terrace. Very comfortable bedrooms. The weather wasn't entirely kind for us in late September but it proved to be a great base for exploring the region (Perigueux, Sarlat, Bergerac etc.) on the rainy days. Highly recommended.

Sehr schönes Haus mit guter Ausstattung

Das Haus hat ein rustikales Äußeres und eine moderne mit viel Holz ausgestattete Inneneinrichtung. Alle drei Schlafzimmer besitzen eine gut funktionierende, leise Klimaanlage. Man sollte wissen, dass zwei der Schlafzimmer zusammenhängen und so das eine Schlafzimmer ein Durchgangszimmer ist. Das sehr nette Besitzerpaar wohnt direkt im angrenzenden Haus und ist sehr um den guten Zustand des Feriendomizils bemüht. Einzig die Internetverbindung des Wlans ist etwas langsam. Wir haben uns dort sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Lage ist ideal für Ausflüge und Grottenbesichtigungen wie Lascaux und andere.

Parfait

Nous avons passés 2 semaines très agréables et reposantes. La maison est géniale et tout est très propre et conforme à ce qui est annoncé. Une magnifique ferme rénovée avec goût et savoir-faire par les propriétaires que nous ne remercierons jamais assez pour leur disponibilité et leur attention à ce que notre séjour se passe pour le mieux. Ils sont également discret donc vous passerez des vacances en toute tranquillité. Le village de rouffignac et son marché proposent ce qu'il faut en terme de produit de la région et cela permet de profiter pleinement de la gastronomie locale. Il y a egalement pleins de choses à voir aux alentours. Vous trouverez toutes les informations necessaires dans la maison. Nous avons donc passé de super vacances et recommandons cette maison et sa région.

reposant à souhait !!!!

Une très belle maison bien décorée et entretenue à merveille. Les propriétaires sont très accueillants et chaleureux - nous avons passé une semaine au calme du PERIGORD et sous le soleil au bord de la piscine - Nous reviendrons c'est certain.
