Forest Meadow Suite - modern, quiet, central location.

We have now moved to a 28 day minimum due to the new bc government rules.
This is a private, fully self-contained, one bedroom, level entry suite, resting under giant evergreen trees in the beautiful Comox Valley. Centrally located in a country residential area, the suite was custom built to be quiet, and features high ceilings and skylights throughout. Just a 5 minute drive to all amenities including the Comox Valley Airport, BC Ferry to Powell River, hospital, shopping, dining, recreation, beaches and the North Island College. From the off street parking area, the private gate leads you down a gradually sloping path to the no step entry with keyless door lock.
The suite is approximately 500 square feet, and was purpose built with privacy in mind. Semi-detached and situated beside the main home on 3/4+ acre, the suite boasts a bright full kitchen with plenty of counter and storage space, fully equipped with a fridge/freezer, gas cook top (with hood vent), oven, dishwasher, and microwave oven. Pots, pans, cooking utensils, mixing bowls, dishes, cutlery, etc., are available, allowing you to prepare snacks or full course meals. There is a keurig and coffee pods, as well as various teas and basic amenities including cooking oil, vinegar, salt & pepper, honey, sugar, hot sauce, and more. The table is counter height, with four stools. There is in-suite laundry, a dedicated work space, fast Wifi, Smart Roku 55" TV with free shows, news & music channels. In addition, there is also a private yard/patio area with a dedicated BBQ, providing plenty of options for cooking, dining and comfortable relaxation.
The separate bedroom has a firm comfy Queen size bed, night tables with lamps (with USB charging ports), a small walk-in closet, dresser, and luggage stands.
In the living area you will find a well designed Italian made pull out sofa, providing comfortable seating which also pulls out into a very well supported double bed. It's a very good sofa pull out, but still a pull out and best suited for a single adult or for the kids.
We have full laundry facilities with a small capacity washer/dryer.
Our beautiful trees provide us with natural air conditioning in summer, and protection from winter winds.

Great Stay
We recently spent two nights here and the place was great! Shelley and Chris have thought of everything you would need away from home. The place is very clean and situated in a forest setting. During our stay there was a two day wind/rainstorm and it was so cozy to come back to at the end of the day. Loved the skylights in the rain! Definitely will return.

Oh my gosh. This was the best place to stay. It is in very lovely setting on a quiet rural property in Comox. It is only a couple of years old. It is peaceful and very private. The decor is lovely. The space is perfect with everything one needs to stay for a week or a month. Beautiful bathroom, comfortable living area, outdoor space to relax. Shelley has it well stocked with all the essentials from cutlery to condiments. One of the best stays we have experienced. Even a fresh flower bouquet to welcome us. Absolutely wonderful.

Great place to stay
This was a great place to stay in this area. It has new construction that has been very well thought out. It has a full kitchen with milk and condiments already there for your morning coffee/tea... that is provided also. The bathroom is spacious and updated. A comfortable bed and dresser in the bedroom. Skylights in the house to provide light. The rental is on a well maintained property and you can enjoy a morning stroll along the many gardens. Shelley and Chris are very charming and attentive, but you have plenty of privacy. I can't say enough about my experience. I would highly recomend.

The area was very central, but still had the peaceful and tranquil feeling with the beautifully landscaped property which we had full access to, even with our dog. We are Shelley and Chris. Welcome to our little Forest Meadow Guest Suite located on a 3/4+ acre property just on the outskirts of town. Our guest suite was purpose built to be private and quiet. We live on site in the main home. We have been working on the home, property, and gardens for about 15 years and we are so pleased to be able to share our little spot with you.
We spend our free time outdoors and enjoy travelling and hiking about, and finding new places to explore, especially in our own beautiful backyard, Vancouver Island.

Why they chose this property

Location, location. We love this location. The home and suite sit under the giant cedar and fir trees. Here you feel miles away from the city, yet we are only a 5 minute drive from everything you need including beaches, airport, hospital & shopping.
The suite is on one level with level entry. There is a sloping gravel walkway that leads from the parking area to the suite. The shower is level entry with just a small edge.
Free parking.

What makes this property unique

Nature lovers can enjoy the natural surroundings and gardens. We invite you to stroll about the common areas of the property. We have many birds that visit, many which are are resident year round. The property is completely fenced. We are working to create even more privacy and interesting and unique areas to enjoy.
