This 100 year old beauty has been relocated and completely renovated to provide everything a guest could want.
There is a king bedroom, 2 queen rooms (one with ensuite) and a bunkroom with 2 sets of king single bunks and a trundle. Quality linens are provided (including doona covers) and brand new Sealy Posturepedic mattresses.
Featuring a sun filled main bathroom, ensuite and powder room as well as a laundry with washer and dryer. The lounge has a huge couch that overlooks the stunning view out the massive front windows and a generous dining nook that seats over 10 people. TV's are provided in the lounge and also in the bunkroom. Board games and some toys are also provided for your entertainment.
Enjoy the Weber bbq on the covered verandah and the large picnic table. Heating and cooling provided. This will be turned on remotely during the winter season so that the house is warm and toasty for you arrival :)

You will be provided with an access code before you arrive that will allow you entry. We are only a phone call away if you need us. We do not live close by but our cleaner does and is available in case of emergencies. Her number as well as ours will be provided to you upon booking. In the event the code doesn't work for some reason, there is also a lockbox with keys onsite.

Marysville Luxury Villa is ideally located in the heart of beautiful Marysville, just a short stroll to the main street where you will find a number of lovely cafe's, restaurants and shops including a Foodworks supermaket just 4 minutes walk away where you can stock up for your stay.
If you've got kids (or even if you don't!) a visit to Marysville isn't complete without a stop at the lolly shop which stocks some cool retro lollies. Opposite is a gorgeous park which will keep the kids entertained for hours. I can vouch that the flying fox is a lot of fun!
There are numerous walks and bike rides starting in and around Marysville and Lake Mountain is approx half an hour car journey from Marysville and offers many fun activities during Winter including cross country skiing, children's snowboarding, tobogganing, snowshoeing and winter walks. During both seasons enjoy the tube run, the flying fox and laser skirmish and mountain biking, orienteering and bushwalks in the green season.
MiRA (Marysville Information + Regional Artspace) offers friendly tourist information, an exciting gallery, the famous Phoenix Museum as well as a retail space stocking locally made artisan wares and produce. You’ll be welcomed by volunteers with local tourism knowledge, inspiring exhibitions, performances and creative workshops, all surrounded by Marysville’s stunning natural beauty.

LAKE MOUNTAIN
Through the warmer months the resort continues to cater for outdoor adventure activities. Marvel at the wildflowers as you walk, run or ride on the extensive trail network. Kids will love the Flying Fox, Tube run or Laser Skirmish.
Accept the challenge to tackle the 20.78km road cycle ascent to the top as part of the 7 Peaks Challenge, or test your skills on over 20kms of single lane mountain bike tracks.
Enjoy the beautiful valley vistas from the Lake Mountain Café, serving a delicious range of food and beverages. Relax with a glass of local wine and soak in the surroundings.
During the white season Lake Mountain Alpine Resort transforms into a winter wonderland. The resort is Melbourne’s closest and most affordable alpine resort, making it ideal for families and first timers to the snow.
Activities on offer during the snow season include snow play, tobogganing, cross country skiing and snowshoeing. Everything that’s required for a day in the snow is available on mountain including clothing and equipment rentals, ski lessons and hot coffee!
Lake Mountain Alpine Resort Visitors Centre, located at 27 Murchison Street, Marysville is now open. Call in or find them online to book nature trail walks or hire mountain or eBikes as well as find maps and information about visiting Lake Mountain whatever the season.
NATURE WALKS
There are over 10 short walks close to town with Steavenson Falls being a highlight.
Steavenson Falls - An easy 700 metre walk takes you to an awe-inspiring view of one of Victoria’s highest waterfalls. Plummeting 84 metres the falls have been a favourite since the 1860’s.
To get there drive to Steavenson Falls carpark, which is located 3km along bitumen on Falls Road. Alternatively take the Tree Fern Gully Trail, a scenic 3.4 one way walk from the heart of town to the base of Steavenson Falls.
Further information about Steavenson Falls and the other walking trails in Marysville and Surrounds are available from the Visitor Information Centre, so call in and pick up a map.
Keppel Lookout Trail - Climb up through stringybark and mountain ash forest to four of Marysville's best lookouts for spectacular views across Marysville, the Cathedral Range State Park and Steavenson Falls.
The most challenging trail in the area, the Keppel Lookout Trail is fairly uneven and steep in places. Wear sturdy footwear and carry water and snacks.
Start the trail from the car park on Falls Road. Follow the trail across Robertson Gully before climbing up to Keppel Lookout, around the ridge passing Oxlee and De La Rue lookouts, and to the top of Steavenson Falls. Descend to the base of Steavenson Falls and follow the Tree Fern Gully Trail.
Note: the car park on Falls Road can also be accessed by walking two kilometres along the Tree Fern Gully Trail from Marysville

Perfect for a mountain biking weekend away, Lake Mountain Alpine Resort’s mountain bike trails continue to grow with over 20kms of single tracks situated on the south side of the village, ranging from beginner to advanced.
Alternatively, if you’re looking for a fun family ride or something a little bit gentler, the Lake Mountain cross country ski trail network is open for some wide, easy riding. With over 30kms to explore winding through the beautiful alpine environment.
