Lovely views from all rooms of the property. Kitchen equipped with most of the essentials- could’ve done with a dishcloth and paper towel or tissues. Spa was great. Would recommend and stay again.

Stayed in Villa 1. It was the perfect place for our romantic anniversary weekend away. The king bed was comfortable and warm, we had a lovely lake view from both the bedroom and loungeroom/kitchen. It was peaceful, we fell asleep to the sound of crickets and frogs outside. The spa was large enough for both of us to relax comfortably. There was a coffee machine and more than enough kitchen facilities that we needed. We had access to Netflix and other streaming services. We walked into town and had a lovely brunch one morning.
The owner was in communication with us promptly if we had any questions but the VRBO communication App is unreliable so we had to communicate directly with the owner instead - thanks Sally for such great, prompt responses.
We will definitely stay there again. Highly recommend.
The apartment was cold and inadequately heated. Although it had a wood burning stove, most of the wood supplied was wet and cut too large to fit in the stove.
The apartment was dirty with a thick layer of grime on the range hood, spiderwebs and dirt on the windows, There was any empty cigarette packet in the dead pot plant on the unswept deck and the cookware was old and dirty. There was a layer of dust on many surfaces and behind doors. We left after two nights of a proposed seven night stay.

Very disappointing
We booked this place so our needs were met with my husband being disabled. It clearly states that this property is wheelchair accessible. We also emailed the host to let her know that my husband is in a wheelchair. How very disappointed we were on arrival to find out that the property is on a slant/hill which made it very difficult to get him out of the car and into the chair. On top of that when we finally got into the property my husband could not get into the shower or the toilet. We asked her does she provide a shower chair and she said to bring one ourselves of which we did..What was the point. We have a video of the frustation and upset she caused us .. we also videoed her to show her what it was like for us so others donnot have to go through this. We tried numerous times to email and to call her...but to no avail after telling us she was available anytime to chat...she was not. We are far from precious people and have never complained about anything like this...we usually suck things up and get on with it...but this was totally unacceptable. She needs to educate herself on what "wheelchair accessible" really means. And not advertise that her place is as. Isnt it against the law to false advertise? We would not have put this review up publicly if she made her self available to talk to us. But she did not.
Amazing views of the lake, very calming tranquil location and villa. Easy access to lake for beautiful walks. Walk to town was easier than anticipated (less than 10min) bit hilly on the way in, easy run home. Went for my partners 50th getaway and she was very impressed.
Our host was great and advised we could get early access to the apartment. On arrival I was more than happy. The rooms are beautiful with just about everything you need for the perfect stay. Sat right on the banks of the lake it’s great for early morning walks and fishing. A short walk into town, about 15 mins. A bit uphill going but easier coming back. My only complaint was an electric blanket would have been most welcome as the apartment can get cold even with the open fire going all evening and I don’t like having the split system going at night. Would definitely stay here again.
Thank you for sharing your beautiful property.
We had such a lovely stay- very relaxing
Beautiful location and property was great- had everything we needed.
Wonderful property - went way beyond my expectations
Such a beautiful property with everything you need and walking distance from everything. Such wonderful relaxing views and the walk around the lake was such a treat. The owner was so supportive and answered all questions I needed promptly. I really have nothing to fault at all. If I return to Daylesford in the future, I know where I will be staying. You will not be disappointed. The photos don't match the complete beauty and tranquility of this property.
Loved this stylish villa with views of undulating landscape and lake Daylesford. The spa bath in the bedroom was indulgent and beautiful! The owner could not have been more helpful and accommmodating. I'd love to stay there again.
A warm welcoming home away from home. Thank you for providing such clear instructions and thinking of everything. The view and easy access to the lake allowed for such an immersive and peaceful experience. Lying back watching the fire and listening to the frogs, while reading or soaking in the large bath. We loved our escape❤️

Gorgeous property, beautiful location. Will be returning.
Nice villa with a spa. Spotless and very close to everything in daysleford. Right on the lake. Sally the host was very nice. Highly recommended place to stay.
Villa 1 is located at the end of a private road right near the lake making it feel secluded and very quiet. We both enjoyed just how quiet and peaceful it was and felt like we switched off for the couple of nights we had booked there.
The villa itself had everything we needed and ticked all our boxes. Was lovely having the Coonara slowly burning away while enjoying a wine or two. Was a nice touch.
Daylesford itself was lovely. Lots to do and things to see. Highlights were a trip to the local springs, the Convent gallery and the antiques shops.
Highly recommended!!
