Neighborhood family fun oasis
Our very large family of 9 adults, 3 kids, and 2 babies had a blast in this quiet, comfy spot that was close to whatever we needed. We had more than enough room for everyone, and plenty to do to relax and have fun either on site or accessible to travel. There were a few minor issues to deal with, but the host was instantly responsive, communicated with kindness and professionalism, and did all they could to resolve. My family all loved the space, and was able to relax in stress-free zone. The neighborhood is friendly and very quiet. The only downside was the weather was cooler than average for AZ, so we used the firepit and chilled outside by the fire!

Spring Training 2025
Big house with lots of room for the entire family. However, we immediately noticed that the property was less than expected. -Floors were dirty-Ice maker didn't work-One of the toilets was leaking at the base-Grills were very dirty-One of the patio doors would not lock-The security system was beeping continuously (I had to communicate with the owner to trouble shoot it over two days. It actually woke some of us in the middle of the night).- Entire house looked very dingy Most of the woodwork was worn and dirty including most the interior doors. Walls needed a fresh coat of paint everywhere. There were holes in the wall near some of the windows where there were probably curtains hung at one time but never repaired. Mismatched door hardware throughout A couple of interior doors would not close properly unless you lifted the doorknob to do so. Light above the stove did not work None of the three bathrooms had toilet paper holders-Landscapers showed up one morning at 7:15 AM and started with their very loud leaf blowers. Again, waking up half of the house. I had to ask them to come back later. When I communicated that to the owner, he said it was in the listing that this would happen. I never saw that. But what I did see was that "Quiet time, between 10PM and 8AM was to be observed.) Then why were they there at 7:15? When I communicated with the owner, and Evolve, they said they could send a cleaning crew back out right away. Now.... That would've been a big inconvenience to our entire family, so I said no, just give me some sort of compensation. (still waiting on that). In addition, no one responded to the leaking toilet, the broken ice maker or the patio door that wouldn't lock.I would not recommend this property to anyone.

Fit the bill…
Met up with our grown kids, grandkids and a family dog for some Spring League baseball. The Avondale home is nothing too fancy but was perfect for our needs - roomy, close to Camelback Ranch stadium, has a back yard, and all the basics needed for our families (pool, big screen TV, extra pack-n-play, washer-n-dryer, etc).

Mostly good but home needs a little TLC
Overall a good experience but I expect a bit more for the price. Very kind and communicative owners. Nice bottles of wine and snacks were at the house for us, as well as basic necessities for our stay. Very thankful for those things!! Outdoor space is very nice! The inside of the house has a lot of open space which is great. Love the tower of towels in the entry way!! Some areas are showing signs of wear and tear. Two of the three leather sofas have tears in a cushion. One is pretty big. Squeaky kitchen drawers as well as some doors, some old and broken utensils in the kitchen, dishwasher doesn't clean very well. Hot and cold water fixtures in master bathroom sinks are reversed but we were not made aware. It took as awhile to figure it out. We thought no hot water but thankfully that wasn't the case.

Great Stay
We celebrated Thanksgiving here and it was great! The home fit our party of 13 comfortably. The home owner even had a turkey in the fridge waiting for us. We only hoped the pool would have been warmer. Overall a nice property that we would definitely stay at again.

Overall great stay near Phoenix
My husband and I stayed at this home with 6 of our children and overall had a wonderful stay. There were plenty of beds and rooms with different configurations, which worked out great for our family. The beds were also comfortable and the house remained at a comfortable temperature for our entire stay. The house smelled nice and clean as we entered, which is always a plus! They have a good variety of pots and pans for cooking. They also have many games available for indoor entertainment and a great outdoor space for outdoor entertainment for all ages. One note is that the pool is not heated for those visiting in the cooler months! Some of the recommendations that we provided to the property managers included fixing the faucet for one of the bathtubs, fixing the drain in the master bath (it was unusable during our stay), ensuring supplies are stocked including trash bags, fixing broken blinds/curtains/doors, and placing basic towels in bathrooms prior to arrival. Once again - overall our stay was comfortable and enjoyable!

The rental was okay. They were light on kitchen supplies, like a wine opener. We had to buy dish towels, hand towels and a spatula. Also they advertised a pool, but it was unheated. No where on the listing did they state that. Tough for having kids and not having a usable pool. Would have no issues with paying for heat. It was nice that they had decent TV available. That all said, the property worked.

89th Birthday for mom
We booked this home to celebrate our mom's 89th birthday. It was a great place to stay and hang out with family. The backyard was spacious and gave the little ones a place to play. It was well stocked with cooking utensils and had lots of rooms for our family. We will definitely keep it on our list of places to return to.

Perfect family vacation house
We had the opportunity to stay in this amazing house while our sons were playing in a Memorial Day baseball tournament. The amenities continued to amaze us throughout our stay, each day we’d discover another activity or hidden gem. The pool was filled with laughter and smiles, the bbq island provided the adults with a place for a watchful eye and the wood pizza oven was the hit of the trip!

Great if you need a lot of space
The house worked great for our family as we had 12 people and it did not seem crowded at all. The house could use some updating and the floors could have been cleaner. We did have a near miss with a chair that was broken but it all worked out. The property manager was very good and responsive.

Great outdoor amenities
Comfy beds, great pool and BBQ area, really enjoyed backyard golf. Lots of toys for kids. Property manager had plumber there within 30 minutes for a 2am emergency. Would rent again.

Owner Booking Stay!
We selected the Airbnb basis the advertising that was available. Our expectations were high but upon arrival we realized that our expectations didn’t equal the quality and detail that was apparent. The surrounding area was quiet and peaceful which was just exactly the way that we had hoped that it would be. The outside yard was very spacious and very clean and groomed. Unfortunately due to the ambient temperature we were unable to enjoy the pool this visit. The game changer for us was the outdoors complete kitchen island with flat grill, pizza oven, propane gas stove and small ice box This type of setup allowed us to prepare food outside and enjoy the experience of being outside and enjoying the family. Thanks LC & Eric for a wonderful Christmas and Weekend at your Airbnb. We will be back to enjoy the pool. All the best & regards Winston
