This home ticked all the boxes for us! We found ourselves sitting in the living room soaking in the views at all hours of the day! The property was pristine, abundant linens available, well equipped kitchen and grill, laundry room available and decorated with charm! Great location for RMNP access and Estes Park shopping and dining. You can be sure we’ll be back!
My husband, adult son and I stayed for a week. Other than our groceries we did not lack for anything. Very conveniently located. Close to RMNP entrance, town and Safeway. There were mornings that my son and husband hiked more adventurous trails and I stayed behind, but there were plenty of good books on hand for me to read. Even though it was close to everything it still felt private. Very easy to find, and the owner was very responsive. Highly recommend!
Good location, easy to get to town or the Park. The views were really nice. Hosts were very good to answer any questions. The house was stocked really well. We enjoyed our stay there!
I wanted to extend my gratitude to Cheryl and express how beautiful our stay was at her family's property! From the open windows that displayed the gorgeous mountain backdrop to the spacious jacuzzi in the master bathroom, we felt right at home. The beds were very comfortable and everything was clean! Thank you for providing the perfect getaway for our family.
A friend and I stayed here during a recent day hiking trip. It was the perfect location, and we enjoyed the amenities. Should I return, I would stay here without hesitation. Communication was excellent.
My wife and I just returned from a one-week stay in Estes Park. We enjoyed Rocky Mountain National Park and we really loved these accommodations.
This apartment is spacious and spotlessly clean. The owners have thought through every detail designed for the comfort and convenience of their guests. The kitchen appliances and bedding are first-rate. Large, fluffy towels are abundant. The showers have great water pressure and lots of hot water. The location is a hop, skip and a jump to town and to the Park (even with current construction). Communication with the owners was extremely pleasant and efficient.
Seriously--What more could a guest want? We would stay here again in a minute!
Views for Days is Outstanding for More Than the Views!
We enjoyed our 5-day stay at this wonderful property! There is plenty of room for visitors, the space was immaculate, the kitchen has everything you could want for cooking and entertaining, the owner, Matt, was extremely helpful, and the views are breathtaking! Additionally, the location was perfect to allow for quiet and separation from the tourist zones while providing very convenient access to downtown and any place you'd want to visit in Estes Park and the surrounding areas. We hope to have the opportunity to stay in this beautiful home again!
Condo was very comfortable and temp inside was great even when it was in low 80’s outside. AC units worked well. Beds comfy and kitchen had all items we needed. Didn’t see any elk in nearby field but we did see momma deer and baby out the front door. Lots of elk in downtown Estes area. Thanks for a great stay!!
We loved our stay at this beautiful home! It was immaculate and well appointed. The beds were very comfortable. It was in a great location within walking distance to town. We ate at the local restaurants right down the road from the house to avoid the crowds in town. The Mexican restaurants were fabulous. We met the owners Matt and Cheryl who were fabulous people and very helpful. If we head back to Estes Park in the future we will definitely stay here again. The house was close to Rocky Mountain National Park which we visited everyday. Thank You
Great house! Fully stocked with most needed household items. Full-sized washer/dryer. Beautiful sunrise/sunset views over the lake! Rocky Mountain National Park is minutes away. Close to shopping and restaurants. Downtown was a bit crowded/congested with limited parking, but there is a parking garage and shuttle system that operates out of the visitor center. House is on upper level with stair access only. The only issue we had was the in-room AC units not functioning well. Parts of the house were warm during the day, but those cool mountain nights with the windows/doors open were divine! Owner lives onsite and was super responsive, accommodating and fair trying to resolve the problem! We would definitely rent again in the future!
Incredible Rental has it all including amazing view!
This place has all the amenities you need plus an incredible view of the mountains and the lake in town. It is a short walk to a brewery and restaurants and a short drive to downtown and the National Park. We saw Elk in the yard multiple times. Owners were great and answered all questions quickly. We will definitely stay here again.
We had a great stay. The house is very comfortable and well-equipped and super-convenient to RMNP. The owners were very responsive to questions. Would definitely stay again.
The property is obviously someone’s home so there are a lot of personal items in the house and it feels very cluttered.
The second bedroom contains a cot meaning space in the room is quite tight.
Having a fire and laundry facilities were a great bonus especially when we got very wet whilst out walking!
Great views from the property although road noise was louder than I expected when we were sitting on the deck.
Clean, and perfect location for any excursions around Estes Park. Will not be disappointed. An Elk greeting party was waiting for us when we arrived. Big bull and 25 yards behind the house. Amazing. Will book again.
Highly recommend! Great views and location! By far the cleanest VRBO rental. Host was attentive with fast response time. All around great place …5 star rating!
This was an amazing place. Thanks to the Heffernans! Everything was so clean and nice and beautifully decorated. Perfect for family even has a baby bed if needed. Easily sleeps 6 with the living room pull outs. So comfortable just like family invited you into there own home for a visit. There were mule deer and elk in our yard daily. Very close to downtown Estes can walk many places if you want. The view from the balconies was endless ! Sunrise was amazing each morning. We went to RMNP but one of our guests would rather stay away from the heights and she could walk easily to many activities while we were gone. So many nice extras here too many to mention. A/C snd jacuzzi tub and two bathrooms was some very nice features ! Property is down a dead end road with open space behind so feels secluded too. I would recommend !! I will surely rent again ! Thanks so much for a beautiful vacation spot. Home away from home !
This property has some amazing views of town and the mountains. It is conveniently located just off the main strip and about 10 minutes from the national park.
There is a large field next to the house but we didn't see any wildlife there but that is no fault of the owners. You cannot control wild animals. We did see lots of elk right down the road in town. The house does have a/c but did have issues keeping up at times. This was one of the reasons we chose this rental. Opening the windows and doors in the evenings with the fans circulating the air helped.
I would say this is more of a duplex instead of a house as the owner resides in the lower part of the house during rentals. This was not disclosed prior to check in. There was no additional noise and the owners had a separate entrance that was used.
