Big house but small rooms.

The house is huge but the layout is weird. The kitchen is on the top floor and the listing states that it’s for up too 11 people , well that’s only if you use 2 of the pull out couches on the top floor. If not the rooms are tiny and not big enough beds. The Master room however is huge. They should consider putting bunk beds in some rooms . Another issue we had were with ants and roaches . There is a huge infestation of ants. We ordered pizza our first night there and an hour later our pizza was covered with ants. They also got inside our truck and we couldn’t get rid of them. We also kept killing roaches throughout the house. I only gave 3 stars for the cleanliness because the trash cans were still filled from the previous renters and the floors were still very Sandy, we ended up cleaning the house ourselves. Another downside is trash is only picked up on Thursdays and any trash left you have to take to a dump site , which no one told us is closed on the weekends. It’s a 15 min drive from the house and then we we’re scrambling around trying to find another place to take our trash! Definitely not what you want when you’re trying to get back home. Needless to say we will not be staying here again. The only good thing is that it’s within walking distance to the beach. One more thing, if you plan to cook make sure to give yourself extra time because the flattop stove takes forever to heat up. Overall, if your planning a trip with a large family like ours it’s a good deal.
