Modern Living in the Wilderness
We took our family here recently for their spring break and had a wonderful time. The house was the perfect size for our family of 5. There are plenty of windows throughout so lots of natural light and unobstructed views of the beautiful surroundings. Everything looked practically brand new with contemporary fixtures and appliances. It was nice to be in the wilderness, yet still have the comforts of modern day life. This was our second visit to Red River Gorge and while this house was located further away from the main strip of restaurants and hiking trails than the previous house we stayed at, it wasn't too far of a drive. All of our questions about the house prior to our visit were quickly answered. We would definitely consider staying here again for future visits.

Red Barn
It was a great place and beautiful location… a little more secluded than I imagined. Enjoyed the fireplace, hot tub, gas stove, and waterfall showers. I’d only give 2 recommendations: 1. Have a covered spot on the porch. It rained most of our stay and there was nowhere to sit outside where we wouldn’t get rained on. 2. We felt terrible we didn’t have any cash to tip the cleaners. Maybe mention it somewhere while booking.

Low key couples getaway
Was a really nice time with my wife. We took the week and really just wanted privacy and a quite time and that's what we got. The views around the gorge was a good time and we enjoyed the hike to the natural arch. The door to the patio wouldn't lock without some effort so we just left that be. Besides that everything was a great time.

Just book it!!
What an amazing property. The cabin is beautiful and looks as good in person as it does in the pictures. The kitchen is great and is stocked with everything you could ever need. And the views from the deck don’t get any better. Campton is a short drive from hiking but it gets you away from everything which exactly what we all wanted. We hope to return soon!

Hot as Hades. The property is beautiful and pristine. It could have been heavenly. Unfortunately, the air conditioning was not working. It was 89 degrees. We called and called the rental company and the owners, nobody responded because we self checked in at 5:00pm. My son has severe asthma and can not tolerate the heat. Having traveled far, and hiked the Gorge all day, we were too exhausted to leave. We slept outside on the patio furniture and vacated in the morning instead of staying for the remainder of our stay.

Beautiful and Quiet
If you are looking for a beautiful cabin away from it all, this is the perfect cabin. Me the Husband would sit in the hot tub in the evenings and just enjoy the sounds of nature. The beds were super comfortable and the place is kept very well...Only recommendation is one bathroom had no tp, and the other one had small amount, so had to run into town and get some more...no biggie but just fyi...i would highly recommend staying here...

Great modern house in the woods!
Loved the place and how it was pretty convenient to all the places within the park. Loved the modern look and feel of the place….perfect for two couples. Did not love the rainfall showers….looked cool but just not practical after a long day of hiking when you need a good shower to really get clean! But other than that…..the place was perfect!

I wanted a get away for my daughter who will be leaving for basic training for the Army in July. I found this listing, when we arrived it was even better than expected. The place was clean and so cozy! The hot tub was perfect after a day of hiking. We made so many memories on this trip. We will definitely be coming back. This place is private, quiet and peaceful while also being close to restaurants and hailing trails. We loved every second of being there.
