This cabin sleeps 2 guests in a cozy king-size bed. The complete window wall on both sides of the cabin will allow you to fully be at one with the nature surrounding you. Or close the curtains for ultimate privacy! Slide into the bubbly hot-tub and forget all of your worries! Featuring large porches, beautiful wooden walkways, beautiful views and more; this home is a splendid retreat for lovers.

- Please Note: 4WD is HIGHLY recommended. Primrose is located up a long and steep gravel driveway. Please review drone pictures of the driveway to determine if this is doable for your vehicle. Limited parking.
- Very secluded location between Red River Gorge and Cave Run Lake. Close to a multitude of adventuring opportunities such as hiking, rock climbing, kayaking, ziplining, boat tours and more! Natural Bridge State Park in Red River Gorge and Cave Run Lake in Morehead, KY are both approximately 45 minutes away.

Our owners make every effort to keep the hot tubs functioning perfectly, as they are the most requested amenity. However, mechanical problems may occur that cannot be resolved quickly in this remote area and no refunds are made if this occurs, per the terms of our rental agreement. Short honeymoon getaway

Overall we enjoyed the cabin and our stay. We had a bit of a rough start as the door code provided did not work and we couldn’t get thru to the property manager. After about an hour they called us back and got us in immediately. The kitchen and linens could have been a bit better stocked but we have definitely experienced worse. Overall a great weekend getaway and we would love to come back!

Nice, minor issues.

We overall enjoyed the property. The location was nice and as secluded as expected. Upon arrival, the first thing noticed was an inferior cleaning. There were chip crumbs all over the floor and miscellaneous items that indicated that the floor hadn't been swept. We felt there could have been better cabin specific instructions, (i.e. fireplace, hot tub...) A text message was answered promptly regarding the fireplace, as we figured it out. We had to use Google to find hot tub instructions specific to the unit to get it out of sleep mode. We felt like the hot tub water quality could have been monitered better. A few other suggestions would be to supply a few more linens, a bath mat for the shower, get rid of the corroded hand soap dispenser. The sofa in the living room area felt like very poor cushions on a sheet of plywood. It was obviously a piece of a sectional. One of the dining chairs nearly fell apart due to a bolt backing out, something easily seen on a quick inspection. The gas grill looked like it never gets cleaned on the inside, the burner tubes were rusted in two and grease poured out onto the tank as the grill heated up. It may sound like I am being nit-picky, but I rarely make a fuss. The property is a neat design, has alot of potential, but feels like care was not / isn't currently put into it. For the amount of money charged, we felt like the quality standards were lacking.

Awesome Property!

What a great weekend! Thank you for sharing your wonderful property with us. It was my husband's birthday, and we were looking for some quiet time after a crazy few weeks. This property was perfect. We loved everything about it. We even did a little hiking at Broke Leg Falls and Devil's Market House Arch. Both are must sees and only a few miles from the house.

Home away from home.

This was a birthday get away for my wife. We have traveled and stayed all over the country. From luxury cabins to lake houses. This place takes the cake. I have never felt more at home anywhere. Typically by the time our weekend is over I am ready to get home. Not this trip. I could live here happily! The host checked in multiple times through out the weekend. Very kind and generous. This is a stay we will certainly return back to! Thank you for a memorable trip......

Nice secluded property

We enjoyed our stay. Property seems like it was VERY new and modern. Just what we wanted. It is tucked up a long drive and is very private between peaks of the hills. This place was perfect for our extended weekend stay. Highly recommended.

Great Couples Getaway

This was a perfect spot for a quick weekend getaway. Tucked away in the trees gave us privacy and a real sense of being in nature. The kitchen had everything we needed to make our meals with. Everyone brings up the driveway which can people intimidating for someone who doesn't have 4wd or has like a really nice car they don't want to mess up. I have neither of those things and made it up no issue. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a cozy getaway with their partner.

Just what the doctor ordered!

This property was nothing short of extraordinary. The breathtaking view from the cabin was absolutely mesmerizing, offering a picturesque panorama that left me in awe. Private getaway

Great clean place with everything you need short of personal items. Private and beautiful. Nicely laid out... The deck is incredible. We enjoyed it so much we plan on staying again. Away from the park a little bit but fun drive and beautiful scenery to and from -- also decent grocery shopping close by -- Dollar General is 5 min away and there's an IGA about 20 min away As the listing reads -- 4x4 or AWD is suggested. No low sports cars will make it up the driveway -- motorcycle would be challenging also.

Private Cabin

What you see in the pictures is what you get at the cabin! This is a really cute little cabin that has everything you need for a simple getaway that is close to tons of outdoor activities. This would be a great romantic getaway location as well for a couple. The front of the cabin has a small bit of visibility to the road and a neighbor, but the sides and back of the cabin are completely private and very quiet. I will be back to this cabin again!!

The best little unique, romantic cabin

This was a beautifully done unique cabin in a private spot in the woods. We absolutely loved the floor to ceiling windows giving us a 360 view of the surrounding woods. No need to worry about shutting the curtains, there is only one house in sight and it is plenty far away. We enjoyed watching movies on the large tv, sitting in the hot tub, and relaxing by the fire. The cabin was exactly as described with a waterfall 5 minutes away and a couple small places to eat and dollar general within 15 minutes. If you’re an adventurer The Gorge Underground kayaking tour is a must! It is 40 minutes from the cabin and is 5 minutes from the Natural Bridge State Park and Skylift. Miguel’s pizza has great food and atmosphere, just beware that most restaurants in the area are closed Mon-Wed. When they say you need FWD they mean it. The gravel driveway is VERY steep and your tires will spin if you don’t get enough momentum. We found the sweet spot to turn our truck around at the top but it was definitely interesting. If I had one recommendation it would just be to add a hair dryer in the bathroom.

Perfect!

I wanted a secluded cabin to relax and recharge, and being able to do it in a modern cabin sounded great. It was beyond my expectations. The cabin really felt in middle of nature with all the trees and all the windows really let you enjoy it, while the cottage was top notch from the decor to all the accessories (kitchen with all ustensiles and pots/plates/glasses needed, linen&towels, blankets, games, books, different outdoor furnitures, hot tub, nice TV). The property was very clean and the host contacted me a few times prior to the trip with the check-in instructions and the same day to warn me about bad weather (which turns out not so bad). It was not a problem for me, but the drive-way definitely need a 4W drive (especially when you arrive under the rain). I am looking forward to stay there again!

The property was amazing, it feels very new and we loved how modern it was inside in the middle of the woods. The decorating was very well done, the fire pit, deck that wraps around the entire house, wall to wall windows, hot tub, were all exactly what we wanted. We will definitely be back

Very nice cabin. Absolutely loved it. Would definitely stay again and would highly recommend. That being said, the driveway is no joke. Was in a truck and had to use 4wd to get up.

Amazing Hideout

This place was amazing. Beautiful scenery. Its like a hideout. Completly private and quiet. Nicely decorated. We loved this place. I didnt want to leave. The driveway is a little tricky. I made it in a front wheel drive sedan. It is possible. Just requires some speed. Dont slow down.

Anniversary getaway

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. I’d give the place 6 stars if it were an option. We travel 3-4x/yr and always VRBO, so we have a lot to compare this property to. This is our favorite so far. It will be one that we visit regularly. The property is exactly how it’s described and how the pics show it. The surrounding area is beautiful. We rented a pontoon boat for the day at Cave Run Marina. The lake and it’s surroundings are very cool. The only things I will point out that a potential renter should be aware of are: 1- There isn’t much around. This is a rural setting (and I say that as someone that lives in the country), so there isn’t a lot around. Although, this was exactly what we were looking for. Frenchburg is a small town about 6 miles away with grocery and gas, but not much else. 2- the roads in the area are awesome. Very scenic with nice pavement. But be aware, they are very twisty and sometimes narrow. I personally loved it!! 3- The driveway….you can tell that this property isn’t very old. The driveway has newer, larger gravel that can be a bit loose in places and it’s quite steep. We had no issue with a 4wd lifted Tundra, but I’m not sure how a car would do?? Like I said, these are just kind of a heads up, nothing we didn’t expect. Also, the walk-in shower is a bit small, not tiny, but its all they had room for and isn’t a problem for 1 average sized person.
