About this property

This house is great for a family or group who want well located, easy space for a holiday break. The house is perched on the top of a hill and has commanding views of Lake Wanaka.

Sleeping up to 4 upstairs and an optional additional up to 6 downstairs, this home has three bathrooms (4x WC), two main living areas and space on a deck with a fantastic view of the lake. Positioned on a sunny section, the house is 10 minutes’ walk from town, yet nice and quiet even during busy periods.

When the weather is good (even in winter) the house gets sun during the day, and the living areas are nice and bright. In winter when it is colder (particularly if there is no sun during the day) the house is heated with three heat pumps - two upstairs and one downstairs. Note that the fireplace and fire box are not in operation.

Comfort with views

This property is spacious, well equipped and comfortable. A great base for all Wanaka has to offer in easy walking distance of the town centre. Excellent for our extended family gathering. Will hopefully come again.

Pictures don’t do it justice

The view here is something else. It would be hard for photo’s to do it justice! Such a winter sun trap - we barely had to use the heating. Flexible bedroom configurations, with plenty of bedding and good sized bathrooms. Dual living spaces really suited our family of 5 when relaxing after a big day out. Well stocked kitchen with ample utensils and easy to use cooking facilities. Great to have an indoor laundry off the main living space. Hosts were really attentive and checked in regularly to make sure our stay was comfortable. Great proximity to town and ski fields. Worked really well for our vacation. Only suggestion would be a larger clothes horse for indoor clothes drying.

Great family holiday at this beautiful house

What a great place for a family of 5 with older teenagers. We thoroughly enjoyed our 10 day stay here. The views were amazing and the house had everything we needed and was lovely and clean. The hosts were helpful and responsive. Would recommend this place and stay here again.

Warm, comfortable, relaxing and fabulous views

My wife and I and our adult son thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We came for a ski holiday but spent a good amount of time resting and relaxing in this very comfortable and well appointed home. Thanks Mark you were a great host 😊
