Enjoy days at the beach and nights sleeping on french linen at this lovely getaway snuggled between main beach and the town centre.

So close to everything...450m (6min walk) to main beach, 300m (7min walk) to town centre, 6min walk to nearest café.

1 bedroom with King Size bed with French linen. Private backyard. Living room with 55" HD Smart TV, well-equipped kitchen with lots of pots & pans.

Body boards, beach towels, snorkels (mask and breathing tube), beach mat & beach shelter provided.

The townhouse has its own private entrance, and a backyard. The driveway is shared, so you might hear or see another car from time to time. You will be endeared by the wattle birds and the rainbow lorikeets in the front trees, and by how close they will let you get to them.

The townhouse is within a quiet complex. Not to worry if the beach is so busy that the carpark is full … it is so close that you can walk.

If you are seeking a place where you don’t see other people or hear any activity at all, this won’t be the place for you. We’re near all the facilities that you are wanting to visit, so you’ll see other people wandering along the street to the beach, and sometimes hear cars going about their business. If you want to be near the beach and the restaurants, you will be very pleased.

Similarly, if you prefer everything to be brand new and akin to a freshly-built display home, you might be happier elsewhere. We enjoy embracing some of the quirks and nostalgia of yesteryear while also ensuring lots of modern amenity to ensure your stay is comfortable and convenient.

Note that the walk to “The Terrace” (main street for cafés and restaurants) is uphill in parts. If you prefer not to walk uphill, it is a very short drive to get there. The walk to “The Garage” café is not uphill in the same manner. It is reasonably flat.

If you would like to ask if there is a particular facility in the property in order to help you decide what to bring with you, feel free to send a message. Do keep in mind you are messaging the Australian Syd/Melb timezone, so if you are somewhere else in the world, be aware we might be asleep and not see your message till morning.

If you have food sensitivities and would like further detail on what is provided within the unit for your use, please feel free to send a message. Note that we cannot guarantee that anything is entirely free of particular allergens. Accordingly if your sensitivity is on the extreme side, it would be best to bring along your own provisions. We have some things in the cupboards that cater to vegan, dairy-free and gluten-free requirements. The objective is a couple of nice things to make your stay a little easier. The rest is of course available at the supermarket, cafe' or restaurant.

No pets, parties or smoking permitted. Only booked guests are permitted on the property at any time. A $100 fine per person per day will be charged for any extra guests or pets/animals found onsite.

This pocket of Ocean Grove is a residential area, and home to many lovely friendly and quiet people that have resided here a long time. It is generally very quiet. Like this property, there is the occasional holiday rental in the mix.

The property is very close to the beach and town centre. Ocean Grove and Barwon Heads host regular markets (and Barwon Heads weekly during peak season). There are vineyards nearby, and it is possible to hire surfboards and stand-up paddleboards. You can also seek lessons for these.

Ocean Grove is both a holiday destination and also residential suburb. Accordingly it has the facilities you would reasonably expect... doctors, dentists, supermarkets, pharmacies, specialty shops etc. There are also wineries and breweries.

There are three supermarkets in Ocean Grove - two of which are Woolworths and one of which is Coles. Nearby Barwon Heads has an IGA.

There is a free off-street carspace (carport) within the complex. There is also free on-street parking. It is a very short walk to the beach (and in summer if there are no available car spaces at the beach, you will be among the lucky few staying close enough to walk). Also a short walk to cafe's, restaurants, supermarket and shops. The nearest bus stop is 2 blocks away.

Very cosy and homey place to stay! Walking distance to pretty much everything.
We had a lovely Time! Quiet place to stay, clean and feels like home, walking distance to the beach,shops, pubs and more..owner is very accommodating , easy check in and check out hassle free👍!This place pretty much had everything you could possible need for a short or Long stay. Will be back and stay again at this place! Highly Recommended!
