Mediterranean villa, next to marine precinct and 5 minute walk to Fremantle.

We are a retired couple who have moved to Fremantle to be close to our grand children. We love the area and cycle, walk or catch public transport as required. We don't own a vehicle and normally use a Vespa to get around if required. The train station is an 8 minute walk and the trains to Perth are every 15 minutes. The local buses are from a stop around the corner and are also every 15 minutes. We are keen snow skiers and hence only rent out our property when we go overseas.

Grey street is a close knit community and our unit is rare in that it has a lockable, remote controlled, opening front gate as well as pedestrian access.

The location is wonderful. The deli, cafes and butcher on Wray avenue are well known throughout Fremantle as are the weekend markets on the corner of South and Norfolk streets. The fish markets and restaurants are opposite the main park and 5 minutes walk away. The bakeries on South Terrace are also wonderful and are open from very early each day. And then there are Bather's beach, the Dog Beach and south beach all within walking distance and fish and chips watching the sunset over Rottnest Island.
