Welcome to Summer Lovin' at the Golden Strand community! When you are at Golden Strand, you will feel like you are in paradise. Imagine waking up in the morning and standing on your balcony watching the waves crash on the beach, smelling the ocean air. All condos have oceanfront beach access. If the pool is more your preference, enjoy TWO outdoor community pools at the complex. There is also a playground for the kids in the family. For added convenience there is an elevator on the premises. This is the perfect vacation rental to make many memories with your friends and/or family.

Being located at milepost 7.5, if you feel like leaving your slice of heaven, you are close to pretty much anything you need to include restaurants, shopping, and activities. In fact, right across the street is the popular Goombay's Grill and Raw Bar. The Wright Brothers Memorial is really close and a little further south you will come to Jockey's Ridge.

This one level condo features a living room, modern kitchen, dining area, a Queen En Suite and a Bedroom with 2-Twin Beds with a Full Bathroom next to it.

There are two parking spaces for guests.

**Private outdoor community pools and/or waterpark play areas are available, weather permitting, beginning on Memorial Day and close after Labor Day. Please know that pool operating dates are subject to change at any point, for any reason. Pools and hot tubs are cleaned weekly and no later than 6 p.m. on check-in day. Vendors are subject to enter backyard to clean the pool and/or spa on scheduled cleaning days.**

Check-In begins at 4pm. Your keyless entry code will begin granting access at this time.

Check-Out is 10am.

Golden Strand

Unit could use some updating but overall very comfortable. Listing should be more specific that washer and dryer are on site but not in the unit. That wasn’t an issue for us as we packed plenty. Big plus is its location right on the beach.

Ocean front beauty

This place was all we needed, nice viewnof the ocean and comfortable. Be warnedd that you need to go to the office and get a parking pass (we weren't informed of this). Fridge needs updated or repaired... all else was great!

Beach get away

Nice place with great views! Needs new coffee maker. Keurig will only work if u hold down top. Everything else was great

Oceanfront early spring

The property was in good condition but needed someone to walk through and check things like the 3 missing slats in the vertical blind, the missing lamp finial and the uncomfortable dips in the sofa. It seemed to be furnished well. The errors in the owner's and VRBO listing were that the unit had a washer/dryer and did not have an elevator. We would have packed differently/more clothes or chosen a different property because of laundry. We didn't discover the elevator until after several uncomfortable trips up 2 flights of stairs, and we explored the property and stumbled onto the elevator. No ice maker was mentioned in any listing, and we were relieved one was in the refrigerator.
